Goated book. Really helpful diagrams and clearly written descriptions. Sometimes the diagrams could be too simple, though. I recommend this book to a lot of my peers and even pull it up during lab meetings to further understand the instruments we work with because this book can make something as daunting as that feel like a quick and simple task. At times it left me wanting. Wish it covered a larger selection of instruments, but alas it covers the principles and therefore it provides the reader with a toolkit to approach most instruments with vague familiarity. Would love to see more theory get discussed instead of purely mechanical explanations.
