A sweet little book - It has short chapters, but is basically a picture book, so great for young readers. The pictures are lovely, the story simple but interesting, especially if you enjoy horses!

This is the story for every little girl that dreams of getting a pony when they are little. Emmy loves horses and her parents send her to a stable for lessons. Her favorite horse gets spooked while on a ride and her and Belle get lost in the big city. Luckily, Belle is a calm and dependable horse that is able to get Emmy back to the stable before a blizzard starts and Emmy's parents have a big surprise waiting for her.

This was a really nice story. This was a book about a little girl named Emmy. She used to live in the country, but then moved to the city. She misses riding her horse. Then her parents surprised her with some horse riding lessons. One time Emmy got lost while on a path, but then Belle took her back. She ended up getting Belle for her present.

It a good Christmas book but I use the word Christmas loosely because, it's not really a Christmas book apart for the end of the book. It's mostly the bond between a girl and her horse.

If you have ever been lost, you will relate to this touching story of a girl and the horse that helps her find not only her way back but also a way to fit in in a place she never believed she could truly belong.
