Samuel Langhorne Clemens, known by the pen name Mark Twain, was an American writer, humorist and essayist. He was praised as the "greatest humorist the United States has produced," with William Faulkner calling him "the father of American literature." His novels include The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (1876) and its sequel, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1884), with the latter often called the "Great American Novel." Twain also wrote A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court (1889) and Pudd'nhead Wilson (1894), and co-wrote The Gilded Age: A Tale of Today (1873) with Charles Dudley Warner.

Huckleberry Finn is an extremely engaging book that is written by arguably the best writer ever Mark Twain “I hain't got the money” “Its a lie. Judge Thatchers got it. You git it. I want it. I hain't got no money, I tell you ask him Judge Thatcher will tell you the same.'' all right I'll ask him and I'll make him pungle too, or ill know the reason why say how much you got in your pocket I want it. I choose this quote because to me it summarizes all of the language and wording from back in the day. Huckleberry Finn is a good book for anybody from the age of 13 to the age 60 If you have not yet read this book I would encourage you to read as soon a possible.

Huckleberry Finn is one of the oldest books ever written it is a classic. Not that many books are from that era. Huckleberry Finn is a sequel to Tom Sawyer and It is a White boy named Huckleberry Finn and he doesn't have a mom and his dad in a drunken sinner but Huck funs away with bJim a black slave. Sorry but you must read it to find out the rest.

Huckleberry Finn fakes his own death to get away from his father. On his journey of running away he runs into Jim. Both Huckleberry and Jim set off down the Mississippi River in search of freedom. This would be a great book to use in an older classroom for a lesson.

Mark Twain stories are always great! I loved how this book was retold for today's readers. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Huckleberry Finn and Jim's relationship. This is a book I believe everyone needs to read!
