Collection of eight animal stories from around the world. Long been a popular source for me when looking for stories to tell at storytime- I especially like the one about the Father Bear looking for a babysitter for his naughty cubs for some reason. This has become a favorite to read aloud at home. Some of the stories are familiar from other versions (Counting Crocodiles, Mother Hare, etc., but others were new to me.
