After the loss of his fiancée, police officer Kyungjoon resigned himself to a life of watering his house plants and catching two-bit criminals. But after a police investigation into a mysterious cult goes supernatural, he finds himself face-to-face with “Lord Cain,” a demon king in desperate need of mana in order to survive. Good Kyungjoon’s body serves as a “door” through which Cain can enter Hell and restore his mana. Bad the method of opening that door is… not so safe for work...
Did you read this for the art? The development? The characters? The story??? DON’T FUCKING LIE TO ME…. 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭 We all came for the smut and Cain’s giant schlong, gtfo of here if you lying… 🍆 🍆🍆
Like… anatomically…. There’s no fucking way….. 50cm….. YOU FUCKING READ THAT CORRECTLY 🥵 but like…. It’s fiction so it’s completely scientifically and anatomically possible 😌😌
The fact the art, the characters and the story were ABSOLUTELY FUCKING GOD-TIER, WAS JUST A MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE BENEFIT OF READING THIS SERIES.
the artwork is phenomenal. the characters are a lot but mostly lovable. Sid 💔. Aaron's whole storyline is the best. the plot was hard for me to follow at times but it was fun to read and mostly it was:
I was liking this manga quite a bit, at least until chapter 88 and that rape scene. Ofc there were non cons btw side couples etc... but I could have ignored that. That scene doesn't happen btw the main chars, but btw one of them and S*tan(that also if is a part of Cain, is still another person). I liked Cain a lot and Kyungjoon too, they never disappointed me, and I was actually glad that in h*ll there was a way for them to have kids and they used it. The side characters were interesting but once the main plot was reaching the end, they all started to act the same. There was just sex, too much of it if I'm sincere. The art was good and each character got their own happy endings(like Metatron with Sid), also if I think S*tan shouldn't have been forgiven(or be able to reincarnate as human and find Mika(a girl now) there), bcs also if he did that to the uke bcs he was the reincarnation of Mika(Michael) that he loved, he still raped him...I wished we had more chapters about the kids as adults, we only saw a few, but the extras were all about random scenarios and one of them really bothered me, like where the uke's friend(forgot his name) and the dog demon(Ben), had to top each other to leave a room....I still don't know if it's considered canon, but if so then is cheating on their partners(the doctor and the angel unicorn) and not funny or interesting at all.
Reread Jan/24 This is one of those that makes me question my sanity and moral compass. But Cain and Kyungjun have such a unique dynamics, and the story is quite cool, full of fights and intrigues.
I have to say i had high hopes for this book and I was let down. I love the cop and the demon king and how they are played and i love the cops friend who is in love with the cop, but I will say that there are points in the story that i think the author took it to far, rap is not cool to show in such a way regardless it is fantasy demon bad guy doing it but its no ok to show in such a way and this book should have a warning for the matter. Its a love hate with this book series, the art is great and storyline interesting but in the end it is all obvious what will play out and who is good and who is bad. I find some point to be boring and not needed and very toxic. This is not a BL in the term of romance but more forced actions, which in real life is not cool.
That manga had such a hold on me I could not put it down to eat, shower and work. I couldn’t wait for my breaks just to read more in secrets cause smutttt omg so fucki g great and well it ain’t very appropriate at the work cafeteria. But honestly it was such a thrill to read this I absolutely love everything great story great art great caractère arc and growth. It makes you think a lot about when loyalty become betrayal and how far you will go for love and what is right. What sacrifices are needed and expected of you and what are you ready to give to face what you know is coming and you can’t stop it. Really really really great would 100% recommend this
