● “নৌকাডুবি” ● রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর ●
এই কাহিনীর কি আদৌ কোনো সমালোচনা হয়? সম্ভব? কিন্তু এই গল্পের সারমর্ম এই বলা যায় “সব কিছু তার সঠিক সময়ে হয়”। এটি উল্লেখ্য যে বর্তমানে আমি রবি ঠাকুরের যে যে গল্পের সম্মুখীন হয়েছি সেখানে সবসময়ই এক চতুর্প্রেমের সম্পর্ক দেখা যায়। 🌷
কিন্তু এটা বলাই বাহুল্য এই গল্পে এক চরিত্র অন্য চরিত্রকে ছাড়া অসম্পূর্ণ। সে এক মাঝির চরিত্রই হোক না কেনো। কমলা - রমেশ - হেমনलिনি আর হয়তো অক্ষয় কেও কিছু মাত্রায় যোগ করা যায়। এখানে কমলা হল মূখ্য চরিত্র, কিন্তু কমলার থেকেও যদি কেউ প্রধান ভূমিকা পালন করে তাহলে সে তার বিচার বোধ। কমলার তিলে তিলে গড়ে তোলা সংসারে তখন সব শেষ হয়ে গেলো যখন হয়তো সে তার স্বামীর লেখা চিঠি পেলো। তার চিন্তা ধারায় তখন আর কিছু বুঝতে বাকি থাকলো না কেনো সে তার স্বামীর শুধু দায়িত্বমাত্র। 🌻
এটাই এক অদ্ভুত ঘটনা যে এক জীবনে কত অজানা মানুষ কাছের হয়ে যায় অথচ কত কাছের মানুষকেও পর লাগে। কিন্তু হয়তো একে অপরের ভাগ্য যদি না জুড়ে থাকে তবে এই মিলন কখনো সম্ভব নয়। এটাও সত্যি রমেশ না থাকলে হয়তো কমলার আর গর্বের সাথে বেঁচে থাকা হতো না! কিন্তু এও সত্যি যে সত্য কথা বলতে পারলে হয়তো গল্প এতদূর ও এগোতে না। এই সময়ে হেমনलिনির ও পরীক্ষা ছিল - তার ধৈর্য্যর পরীক্ষা। 🍂
যদি হেমনलिনি তার ভালোবাসার উপর ধৈর্য্য হারিয়ে ফেলতো তাহলে হয়তো সেখানেই সব শেষ হতো। হেমনलिনির দাদা হয়তো রুক্ষ কিন্তু বাস্তবিক। তার কথায় হয়তো কাঁটা আছে কিন্তু তার বোনের জন্যেও তার চিন্তা বাস্তবিক। অক্ষয় এখানে বাস্তবিক। সে জানে তার কথায় থেমে যাওয়া প্রয়োজন। তার কোথায় নিজেকে সংবরন করা প্রয়োজন। মাঝে মধ্যে অবাস্তব মনে হলেও, ঘটনার মধ্যে সত্যতা ধরা পড়ে। 🍁
প্রায় 300 পাতার এই বই মনে ধরার মতো ✨️

খুব ভালো লেগেছে তবে শব্দচয়ন বেশ কঠিন। পুরু গল্পে রমেশকেই প্রধান চরিত্র মনে হয়েছে।

This was my first book of Tagore. I was merely 9/10 when I first read this. I re-read the book again over last week. It has been an incredible experience all over again. As if I read it for the first time. So glad I did,there is absolutely nothing than being mesmerised again by the words and world of Tagore. I just couldn’t be grateful that Bangla is my first language. Wouldn’t be able to fully appreciate its magic otherwise. Grateful, grateful and grateful!
