Minuteman. Someone recommended--Maybe Audrey? 1990s, concept really similar to IFS, or child self and adult self. He first encountered in a Harvard student. Challenge was to get the adult self to dominate. Felt out of date, similar to IFS etc.

Just finished this book for the fourth time. It's a classic, and I love it, and it has influenced me greatly. Written with style and compassion, this book clearly explains the duality that is the mind: the result of a nuanced, subtle fight for dominance between two hemisphere-specific entities.

One of them is you. The other, looking through your eyes, reading these very words, is a sentient being that is your "inner child" or sub-conscious or whatnot. But it is there. So pat yourself on the opposite shoulder, and say hi.
