Entanglement: In quantum science, when two particles link together in a certain way no matter how far apart they are.
Entanglement: In relationships, when two people find themselves connected in ways that are emotional and physically complicated.
This is not your ordinary love story. This is about two people who cannot be together, yet must be together, the impossibility and inevitability of fate, and the extraordinary lengths we will go to in pursuit of a timeless love.
When I tell you, I ate this thing up, I mean it. It was soooo goddamned compelling! While there were some inconsistencies when it comes to dates and the cellphone company, it’s fine because I can chalk it up to Jason just being a bit unreliable due to all the crazy shit happening. Plus the complete and utter defeat.
I recently got into my kindle again and have been on a binge of reading. This book was advertised on my kindle adds when it’s asleep so I gave it a shot and man, it did not disappoint! I came in for the love story, and stayed for the quantum computer which seemed too interesting to put down. Then it came to time travel! And some Butterfly Effect mixed with Sliding Doors shit.
To be fair, I haven’t seen Sliding Doors but the movie is mentioned in this book in detail, I even looked it up and goodness. This book has movie potential. It just went buy for me, I completely loved it.
Look. I came from reading mostly smut and dark romance I haven’t been able to get into anything that isn’t in these categories this pulled me in. Sex was mentioned but no details which was actually refreshing. This is a romance book written by a man and I was expecting it to be different. This was beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
I'm probably just a sap but I loved this book! He desperately needs an editor but if you can get past that and love quantum physics and multiverses and romance you might just love this book. And, yes, in a multiverse there is no 'first life', just another life. But suspend disbelief. It's such a good story. It's sweet, it's funny, it's bittersweet.
