A California native who first longed to be an actress, Christine earned her theater degree from California State, Sacramento and then went to New York to study acting. Later, she moved to Southern California, where she began her writing career with short stories, plays, and poems. Her poems and short stories were published in a number of small literary journals. Her plays were produced at The Back Alley and Group Theaters in Southern California and have been published by Dramatists Play Service and West Coast Plays.

She now lives in Oregon with her family and two very contented cats named Tom and Ed.

Christine Rimmer has such a knack for making me care about her characters. Both Cade and Jane are wonderfully drawn as the bad boy with hidden depths and the good girl who is so much more than she seems. The sexual chemistry is off the charts, and yet there is a sweetness to the story that had me tearing up by the end. Highly recommend!

Her only rebellion at age 17 was to run off with one of the bad boys of her small town. When the no-good, abusive, two-timing, thief she married is killed during a robbery, Jane Elliott believes she is cursed when it comes to picking bad boys. So what will happen to dear Ms. Jane when the baddest of the bad boys buys the house next door and moves in? When her Mercury starts rising for this bad boy, she is determined to keep him at arms length, at least until he wears her down and she finds out he's so much more than bad, at least underneath where it counts.

Cade Bravo, the notorious small town bad boy has kept his image alive, but he's anything but bad, except when it comes to his attraction to Jane. They spend most of the book posturing toward the eventual. But when Jane's Mommy-Dearest steps in, Cade backs off breaking Jane's heart. Will they gamble on their love and find the ultimate happiness?
