On Communicating

Rate this book
Avoiding trendy theories and short-sighted strategies, Mark McCormack shares his time-tested methods for using communication to succeed in business and life. He teaches verbal communication as art and science: how to explain anything to anyone; how to assert oneself without offending others; how to discern that the messenger means more than the message; and much more.

No disrespect to the late Mr. McCormack, but this is essentially a "€œhow to"€ communication manual for micro-managers and thin skinned people. I do not recommend this book or its prescribed practices to anyone. I had thought about reading some of Mr. McCormack'€™s other books such as "What they don't teach you in Harvard Business School"€ but now I'€™m not so sure they will be worth the time (well, I may still read that one because I can't help my curiosity).
