Just finished reading Anando Brahma by Yandamuri Veerendranath… and honestly, it’s more than just a novel — it’s a mirror to real life.
At first, the story feels simple, but as it unfolds, it dives deep into human emotions, relationships, and inner conflicts. The characters don’t feel fictional — they feel like people we see around us every day. Especially the emotional layers and psychological depth make you pause and think.
What I loved the most is how the story connects to real life — 👉 We often judge people without knowing their struggles. 👉 We carry emotional baggage but never express it. 👉 And sometimes, the biggest battles are happening silently within us.
This novel subtly reminds us that life is not just about what happens externally, but how we deal with it internally.
✨ It’s not just a story… it’s an experience. ✨ Not just characters… but reflections of ourselves.
If you’re someone who enjoys meaningful stories with life lessons, this is a must-read.
My first telugu novel. I've realised what a beautiful language telugu really is. I never thought that romantic scenes can be expressed in such a mild and respectful manner.
The story however was a little bit preachy. We as readers don't have to be told how to feel about things because we already are feeling things while reading. That's what I've felt. Much of what the writer envisioned as a dystopian future are extrapolations of the present. Overall, a decent read I would say. I've come to appreciate telugu sahithyam more and would love to explore it.
It's is a fantastic novel. Touching life, love and existential meanings all at once. But I felt the ending was lazy. Nonetheless a great novel. I completed this in 2 days. It's the fastest read in my life.
