This completely revised and updated biography follows baseball's most controversial slugger from his early years to his achievement of the most revered record in sports--the career home run record.
Barry Bonds by Jeff Savage was a really good and entertaining book to read. It goes in depth about his life and how he has became the player and the person that he is. I thought it was a very short book but it had all of the details it needed to be a good book. I liked how it went in depth of his struggles and how get succeeds. It starts off about his childhood and him getting introduced into baseball by his dad. Barry's dad, Bobby, is a professional baseball player and played left field along side of Mickey Mantle. When Barry was little he got watch he dad every time he played at home, that is where it started. The book goes through most of his career and how he gets to where he is and how hard he worked to be there. I would recommend this to any body who likes baseball.
THIS BOOK IS A GOOD BOOK IF U LIKE BASEBALL. WHAT I THINK OF THIS BOOK IS THAT IT IS A GOOD BOOK BUT IT DON'T GIVE THAT MUCH INFO ON THE PLAYER.BUT IT DOES GIVE THE MUST IMPOTENT INFO ON THE PLAYER.SO I THINK THAT YOU SHOD READ IT IF YOU INTO BASEBALL AND THAT IF YOU WAT TO LEARN ABOUT BARRY BONDS.
