Touch Me, Baby . . . Monday through Friday, they're known as Alex, Mel, and Carl. But by night, these blue collar Texas gals trade in their work boots and tool belts for high heels, lipstick, and men!
Lexi preaches safety first at her construction site, but when she's blindsided by a hot, hard-bodied foreman, he leads her into the danger zone for steamy sex . . . and all kinds of delicious trouble. Lanie runs her auto shop, Chick's Garage, with no-nonsense efficiency. Nobody guesses the erotic adventure she's planning for a white-collar guy who needs a lady mechanic to give a kinky spin to his engine. Carlotta knows how to splice a cable or wire anything, anytime, anywhere better than any man. But when this curvy electrican meets a quiet computer guy, he has something to teach her about how to connect . . . and give up control.

Amie Stuart is the last of a dying breed: a Native Texan. She writes sexy, emotional contemporary romances set in small towns. In the past, she's worked as a receptionist, a daycare office manager, delivered pizzas, and was even a hairdresser for five years--all fodder for the writing gig. That and all those Barbara Cartland romances she cut her teeth on.

None of those careers can compare to her favorite job: writer. She's a storyteller through and through, even when she's keeping tabs on her almost-grown sons and many pets, or organizing promo and planning trips for her day job as a personal assistant. She smokes, she drinks, she writes, she curses--sometimes at the same time.

It was interesting the aspect of three strong willed ladies in a man's world, who have to work especially hard since they work at jobs that are male domianant, and look for some fun when they hang up their hats. Add hot, sexy, and willing men to the mix and what is there not to love? Another interesting fact about this book was that the stories intertwined and elated to each other in some way. There were evn some parts where they mesh because of the events occurring in them.

The best story in this book was the one about Lexi. It kept me interested with the heated moments and the possible chance of Lexi and her man getting caught in public kept you on your feet. I found this guy to be the sexiest and most dominant male in the book. I loved the way they continued to tease each other sexually.

The story about Lanie to me got a little slow and slightly boring at some points. Even it was a three some, I found myself longing for the first story, finding it to be better. Lanie's background with her family grew more interesting towards the end, but left readers hanging about what would happen next.

Chalotta's story about being pulled into a dominant/submissive relationship had the pace more than the second story, but it still didn't beat Lexi's story. A woman who is definant and head strong being able to trust someone is quite remarkable to me since I don't think I would be able to give myself over and trust someone with my body like that.

Not quite sure what the point of these stories were. I thought they were going to be about the friendship between the girls and the relationships they get into but it was not that. It was three separate stories about what these girls did/had to do for these relationships. Their friendship was a back-burner issue that was only used as a tool to explain what was going on with the other two women while in one of the three of their stories.
The only story I found remotely interesting was Carlotta and Devon's because it was about a woman who had to decide if she wanted to be with a man she was extremely attracted to because he was into BDSM and she didn't have any idea what it was other than what she'd heard, "People {who} like to hurt each other for fun". He introduced her to his world and showed her it wasn't necessarily that at all.
This was definitely more "Erotica" than story, so if that's what you're looking for then check it out. That's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for more story and the sex in it has to be for a reason, not just to have it.
Glad it was a library loan and not a book I purchased otherwise I'd be disappointed.

This is a fun book about three girlfriends who are young, top in their male oriented fields of work, and enjoy being single and playing the field.

Written in three parts from each girl's POV, we get to see how each woman finds a person who unexpectedly grabs her heart. All the while, the three women stick to their routine and pact of meeting every week to talk about their sexual exploits and to support each other.

This was hot book. It is basically three books in one. It tells the love life of 3 different women. I really did not like the women as I was reading the book. I felt that they were selfish. They only thought about there needs. They would sleep or should I say have sex with who ever they wanted and when ever they wanted. Gradually they discovered that this was not enough. Each was different and each was a great read. Yes I would recommend this book to everyone who loves f/m romance books with hot sex.
Amie Stuart is a great writter.

I had previously read Lexi’s story somewhere else, which left an open ending like there was more to the story. I eventually found this book which includes stories of Lexi’s two friends Lanie and Carlotta. I liked this book well enough to keep me interested and reading. Lexi and Wades part was my favorite, followed by a tie between Lanie and Carlotta. I liked the premise of these stories focusing on a group of women who work in male dominated fields, and I feel we see this aspect in the first two parts of the book. Carlotta’s story didn’t really go into her struggles of working in her field and I felt if there was more about that I’d have enjoyed her part of the book more than I did.
