ALBERT
Something about her sets my blood on fire. She’s a wild cat with balls of steel. You cross Rosey, and she’ll slit your throat while laughing about it. I know because I’ve seen her in action. But, damn, does she give me the run-around, and maybe that’s part of the appeal. Then there’s the side she doesn’t show to anyone. The one where her eyes fill with pain and she becomes vulnerable.
That’s the side I want to know. That’s the side I’m falling in love with.

ROSEY
He thinks he’s got me all figured out, and maybe he has, but there’s no point in getting any ideas. We can never happen. Albert Taylor isn’t the sort of man you can mess with and walk away from. So, why do I find myself constantly baiting him for a reaction? I’m addicted to playing games around him, and the weird thing is, he lets me. And I like that side of him.

That’s the side I want to see more of. That’s the side I’m falling in love with.

Can love break down even the strongest of walls? We’re both about to find out.

Nicola Jane, a native of Nottinghamshire, England, has always harboured a deep passion for literature.

From her formative years, she found solace and excitement within the pages of books, often allowing her imagination to roam freely. As a teenager, she would weave her own narratives through short stories, a practice that ignited her creative spirit.

Since then, Nicola has dedicated herself tirelessly to crafting poignant, drama-infused romance tales. Her stories are imbued with a sense of realism, tackling challenging themes with a deft touch.

What can I say?!?! Finally a man for Rosey!! She deserves this book! So amazing to see her softer side. It’s not a “the hard women turn softie” story but she becomes a bit softer. She don’t lose her spunk so Albert will have his hands full!!.

First off I love them flowers on the chapters 🥰 Okay so I’ve had a on and off love hate with rosey but in Arthur’s book I loved her and couldn’t wait for her own story, and what a story we hear about her troubled life as a kid her mam is especially horrible, awful, the worst! There is talk of SA in there but not actually on page just description of what had happened to her, there’s loads of push pull between Rosey and Albert the jealousy and possessiveness is up there! Even if he’s trying to rein it in. We see how he looks out for her like when they have a moment he looks around so her badass reputation isn’t tarnished, I love how they have a special bond that’s just their way. He’s always like a puppy dog with her she calls the shots until he’s had enough, but what he forgets and Meli has to remind him is that even though Rosey is a boss she needs him to boss her! She’s so used to doing things on her own we see how she hands over power to him in the bedroom or a wall lol. Mama B is the best! She’s so lovely to her and gives her the dress! Her reaction to that is fab! We see how Ollie is in all of this gangs drugs all the bad stuff is as parents we dread for our kids covers major issues the uk has had with social services. The comebacks that kid had remind me of my son. We really do see another side to Rosey and let’s not forget her banter with dice! Even though it’s only a small bit in this book it’s still good, a touch of other woman drama but nothing worth killing over haha be good to see if Lauren pops up somewhere or not! Happy wedding ending too. Overall a cracker yet again! Nicola Jane just smashes these books out and they are all a little bit of everything and very well written, highly recommended.

When I first started reading The Perished Riders MC and Rosie came on the scene, I wanted her book something fierce. She was abused in the past by the previous president and her best friend's half brother, but she'd taken care of them, plus the one that hurt Meli. (More of this is from previous .) She's a hitman for people who hire her to take out the abusers of the world. Albert is Arthur's brother and right-hand man in the mob. Rosie annoys him at first, but he can't fight it long and pursues her for more, which she isn't willing to do. She's been hurt too many times, and there aren't many men whom she trusts. As she starts doing jobs for Arthur and Albert, her son acts out more and more. She decides she's going to retire from her killer ways and spend more time with him. As she tries to do this, nothing falls into place as it should, and on top of her stressing about everything going on with her kid, Albert is not giving up on her. She fights her feelings for a while. But in the end, everything works out, and she gets the happily ever after she thought she'd never get or deserved. The ending of this book and the way she gets back at the ones that recently hurt her, is the perfect ending to all the bad in her life.

If you have read the Perished Riders MC series then you have met Rosey and knows who she is and what she does for a living. If you don’t know, she kills undesirables for a living. She had a very traumatic childhood, all due to the choices her mother made. She came back to the MC so her son, Ollie, could be close to his half-siblings. Rosey doesn’t make things easy. She is a firecracker, feisty and full of sass. She hates men telling her what to do. Albert is one of her bosses and has wanted her for some time, but doesn’t want to scare her away. He is probably the only man who can handle all that is Rosey. She pushes people away as a defense mechanism, but Albert won’t let her. He wants to do whatever it takes to make her see that he is the man for her and that he won’t leave. These two are paired together so perfectly. There is some angst, drama, action, second guessing oneself, lies, secrets and spicy heat. I absolutely loved this story and all the characters. There were times when I wanted to shake the crap out of Albert and some of the other guys, but that seems to happen with Nicola’s books. That’s what makes them so good. She takes you right into their world and doesn’t let you go, even after the end. She always leaves you wanting more.

I’ve been reading Nicola Jane books for over a year and every book gets better and better. Albert is a must read book, from an abused kid to the woman she is now, who is afraid to let her walls down to realizing that she is in love with her boss.

Rosey is a woman looking for love but she’ll tell you she doesn’t need a man that she can do it all on her on.
Then there’s Bert(Albert) who is a ruthless mafia man, who is second in command under is brother
(Arther) who Rosey gets under his skin but he is finding out that he is fallen in love with her.
You will be so happy to read this book, it’ll have you refrying, angry, happy, and mad at the same time.

I give this book a 5 out of 5.
Nicola Jane is an excellent author and she pulls you in every time with her writing so I suggest you go get her book and read it you won’t be disappointed.

I also recommend her other books too.

Love the dynamics between Albert and Rosey as they are really good at pushing each others buttons but still have that deep connection to finding love. Rosey has been seen as a total baddie in previous stories who doesn’t follow the rules when it comes to the mc and her mafia jobs. In this story it was really great to see a more vulnerable side to Rosey and figure out what she’s missing in life since all she’s known is pain for most of her life. Albert’s the perfect mix as he’s adamant about building a relationship with Rosey but she is so good at building her own walls that things between them get complicated. I enjoy seeing the direction that the story went and seeing familiar faces and more updates from previous characters.

Rose was at the Perished Riders club house as a teenager, when Maverick's dad was Pres. Her mother was a club girl who did not protect her daughter and her son Ollie was the result. She has come back to the Perished Riders MC with Ollie to be near his half siblings. She is trying to get leave the business, executing undesirables.

What can I say, I loved this pairing, Albert maybe the only man that can accept and handle Rosey. She does not make it easy for him and that is due to her past trauma. Albert pursues her and does not let her push him away for long. She is a strong female that hides a vulnerable core that she only lets him glimpse.

It’s a romantic story for Rosey

I have read this author before, but this story rounded out to be a surprisingly romantic. Yes there are triggers and the lead female Rosey kills bad people for a living. Let me just say that Rosey is all over the place emotionally and a handful. She had a unusual childhood because her mom was a club girl that just wanted to party and enjoy the brothers; that’s all she cared about. Connie sold her daughter’s virginity— unbelievable right. The lead male, Albert, had so much patience. He deserves a medal for all the hard times that Rosey dished out. She liked to sabotage herself before she could become attached or have real feelings. It’s a miracle the author pulled out a happy ending. Read On!

Trying to come up with the right words for Albert has been tough. I really love this book!
Rosey's story completely broke my heart! She is beyond fierce and with everything she's lived, she's a survivor. Albert is perfect! He takes no crap from her, let's her move the way she's comfortable and is pretty much just along for the ride until he's had enough and takes control. This story and it's characters are engaging and consuming. We ride with them on their journey and feel every emotion they do. I love that contrary to "profession", Rosey finds her softer, vulnerable side and watching her learn to navigate her "new" self is intriguing. Another great story from this author!

I was so excited for this book and I was not disappointed. Reading about Rosey was great and I was waiting for her to get her man and Albert is the man for her but not before they both have to overcome some massive hurdles in their way. Although Rosey is a strong woman she is quite vulnerable and my heart broke for her on a few occasions. Ms Jane delivers another great book and I loved reading about Rosey and Albert’s journey but I also loved getting to know the other characters. Looking forward to reading more in this series.

Rosie is hard as nails and a mum to a troubled teenager Ollie, and they live in an MC Club. She wants love but has been hurt in the past and is afraid to love. Albert sees this side of her and starts falling for her, but she doesn't want romance to make a relationship difficult. One day out of the blue, her mum turns up, whom she hasn't seen for years, and wonders why she wants to bother now. Will her mother's intentions be good or bad?
I received an arc for my honest voluntary review for NNBB. You will love this read if you love an MC romance with some angst, twists, and turns to keep you turning the pages. There may be some triggers for some people with some of the events in the book, so heed the author's warnings.

Rosy is a hit woman who works for the Taylor Mafia and Perished Riders MC. She is good at her job but she has had a very bad childhood thanks to her drug addict clubwhore mother and her father wasn’t any better. Albert and his brother run their mafia family and he is also in love with Rosy and she loves him but pushes him away until he finally steps back. After she loses something very special to her and Albert comes to her side she realizes that she may need Albert in her life and she should stop running.

OMG the pull that both Rosey and Albert had was off the charts!
Neither of them wanting something long term serious but have issues when other people get close. I so wanted to smack Albert and his stupidity for leading her on and for breaking her trust boss or not that was a low blow and to have the club involved.
To say Rosey's home life was messed up as a kid to see her having to live through it all again at a time when she feels she has no one is sad.. yet the Phoenix will rise again and Rosey will show just how strong she is.
I love that we got both the strong and the vulnerable side to Rosey in this book I just hope the strong side doesn't fade into the background going forward.

Can love break down even the strongest of walls? Well you’re about to find out.

We’ve been dying to read this and it did not disappoint.
Rosey is one bad ass female and is not to be messed with. You cross Rosey, and she’ll slit your throat while laughing about it.

This story was so good and it was also nice to get to see the vulnerable side of Rosey. She’s had such a traumatic past, and letting her guard down is something that she really struggles with until Albert comes along.

Albert Taylor isn’t the sort of man you can mess with and walk away from but she does love to push his buttons. He’s the only man to tell rosey what to do and get away with it.

We honestly couldn’t put the book down.

The reason it’s not a 5⭐️ for us is that we felt the ending was a bit rushed. We also felt the smut was too short and sweet which was disappointing. And it had no epilogue 🤦🏼‍♀️

Now you should know our feelings by now. If it hasn’t got an epilogue then we aren’t happy 😂

Other than that brilliant end to the series.

If you haven’t read Nicole’s MC series go and do so now. You won’t be disappointed.
We reviewed these books earlier in the year.

Happy reading

Bert and his brother employee Rosey to take care of some of the most unsavory individuals on the planet. Rosey is stubborn, independent and fiery and Bert loves that about her. Rosey has emotional baggage that keeps haunting her and makes her keep people at bay. And, Bert couldn't love her more. There is one character that was introduced that I wish things were resolved with, but I wonder if it is nugget left for the next book.

I must say Rosey has been my top favorite of this series. She sassy, unhinged, loves hard, and protects those she loves. She can be misunderstood but Albert knows Rosey and gives her what she needs. Of course Rosey keeps running but she learns running is not always the best option.

Someone returns from her past and puts more stress into an already stressful time in Rosey's life. She struggles to find balance and to trust but it works out the way it's meant to be!.

Since the first Perish Riders MC book, I have been waiting for Rosey's story and it did not disappoint me! With each Perish Riders MC book, I was -- "Rosey has met her match!", only to say, "Whaaa' happened?!?" With Albert, I now know why not and I loved the twists and turns their journey took to get to their ending! I can't say "happily" because this is Rosey and she needs, on occasion, chaos to settle her.

This is a wonderful story I enjoyed Albert and Rosey, the latter has not had it easy, but holds up well to the outside world. But she has to keep up with Albert because he sees through her. In the beginning I thought they are like water and fire, but gradually you will understand and understand her more and you will also find out that they are the one for each other. Good storyline and the characters are described in such a way that you are glued to your book.

I enjoyed the story. Roxey has had the most unbelievable life. A heartbreaking life. She's learned to never show her emotions. Albert really is falling in love with the Roxey which no one has seen a lot of. He sees the pain in her eyes when she becomes vulnerable. Roxey likes to push Albert's buttons and he lets her until he's had enough and he takes control. I enjoyed the story and their emotional journey to their HEA.

Bert + Rosie = Swoon!

If you have read all of the previous books in this series, you will know that Rosie’s true love needed to be someone that would accept her and all of her. The good, the bad and the ugly (so to speak). Albert checked all those boxes and more! He got her, really got her and Nicola Jane is a master in how she developed their unique relationship. Oh how she was able to give us the readers the feels throughout this read. This is a fast paced, exciting and hot read!! I can’t wait for more from this world!!!

This is a well written book with strong characters in Rosey and Albert. The author does a great job developing their relationship and painting her scenes. I loved their characters and watching her push his buttons. Also loved how he eventually takes control. It's an emotional story. moves fluidly and is a terrific read.

I'm not certain this should be called Rosey. This book was full of drama almost on every page, all the better to get engrossed in! Albert, even though he's mafia, is a stand up guy. He learns from his mistakes and tries harder, if men not in the pages of books could be as smart. Great characters, writing well done, and another Perished Riders crossover success in my opinion.

Rosey hasn't had an easy life, and she puts on a front to the world but Albert sees through that, he wants her, craves her but can he be the one to make her feel free? Well written the story makes you feel everything and more for Rosey, a love/hate character in the past we now see the true woman behind her character and Albert is definitely the man for her.

Albert is a suit wearing bad boy and Rosey is a contract killer. Rosey was raped as a teen, by the MC while her mum looked on and sadly the abuse continued leaving Rosey as a teenage mum. She loves her son and does what she has to to keep them fed and housed. Rosey is damaged both by the MC and her mums actions.

This is their story and has triggers.

I was so excited when I saw that Rosey and Albert were getting to tell their story. Rosey was a difficult person to love. She was hard, opinionated, and a bit crazy. She didn’t have it easy growing up and that made her a bit jaded. Albert broke through her very high walls and showed her that life can be good. After everything that happened with Ollie and her mom I was so happy they got their HEA.

Rosey finally gets her story and it was amazing.Albert and Rosey’s story was hot couldn’t put this book down. I love how Albert supported Rosey and let her do her thing but when needed to he stepped up and took control. He helped Rosey deal with her problems and helped her realize she didn’t have to do anything on her own. Loved this book.
