Isaac Perry has spent the majority of his life wearing the Devil Hounds MC patches. As president, he’s used to making tough decisions, even the occasionally vicious ones. He doesn’t have to take orders from anyone anymore. He never bends, never breaks, until she literally stumbles into his life.
Holly Garrison is young. Too young and innocent for an outlaw like Isaac to lay a hand on her. But when he’s sent to save his daughter’s best friend from the consequences of her bad decisions, his protective instincts kick into overdrive. Suddenly, he finds himself unable to leave her side until he’s certain she’s safe.
When Holly realizes that she has Isaac wrapped around her finger, she tempts and teases him into submission. And then, she walks away, leaving him begging for more.
Isaac has his hands full with the Savage Kings MC, who are threatening to end his club, his presidency, and the legacy he’s spent years building. He doesn’t have time to obsess over the sexy preschool teacher. He knows he’s too old to give Holly what she wants, a family, especially after the loss he suffered when he failed his wife and lost her nearly twenty years ago.
As Isaac prepares for a brutal, bloody fight with the Savage Kings, he’ll have to decide where his priorities lie. Is he willing to risk it all for the sake of his own stubbornness and pride? Or will he surrender for a second chance at happiness that he still doesn’t think he deserves?
Lane Hart is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author. She lives in North Carolina with her husband, D.B. West, and their two children. She loves all things beach related, especially sea turtles, and is a huge fan of the Carolina Panthers.
Isaac is the fifth installment in the Savage Kings MC Series, Virginia Chapter and, although it can be read as a standalone, it is intimatetely related with books #3 & #4, Bear and Rugger's books, respectively.
I was totally not expecting the main characters in this story, specially not the President of the Devil's Hounds MC, a man with a temper, having caused some problems in the past, finding himself and his club in wobbly waters after what went down in the previous accounts. I was not expecting as well the turn his life would take when saving his youngest daughter's best friend from a treacherous date at her request.
I'm so glad for the ability of this terrific duo to introduce another troupe, age-gap (swoon😍😍😍!) in the Savage Kings. We had pretty much everything so far, so this connection, that started as an affair, between Isaac and Holly is the cherry on top. We have the full basket! The secretism, the 🔥trysts🔥, the internal conflicts between wants and wills, the reasonings, the certainities on Holly's part, the doubts and sense of not being enough or being too much at the same time, on Isaac's. For those who read the previous books, Isaac might come out as a loose cannon or having only the club dealings on his mind. The narrative shows Isaac is so much more than that, a man with conscience, respect and not all what qualified him until now. He is a man with an undisclosed facet, his privacy, the way he connects and loves intimately. And it represented a great metamorphose to what we were used to. It felt a bit like redemption to me and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Yes, Isaac is definitively the star of the show, but Holly was the only woman capable to bring him to his knees and show the world (us, readers) how worth he was!
I don't know, if I'm right to be expecting more from the Savage Kings from Virginia. It feels like we're coming full circle, but whatever the future brings, I'll be happy to oblige *read*!!!
How I missed these two. How I missed their words. Lane Hart and DB West have this unique writing that will hook you up with just one book. Trust me. If you're a fan of MC books, then these two have this amazing series that will blow your mind. Their writing is raw and wild, intense, dark, and hot as hell. Isaac is their latest release and it's the fifth book from the Savage Kings MC, Virginia chapter. This book explores the lives of Isaac and Holly. Isaac is not new into the MC world. As president of an MC, he's used to give orders, to make things work and he doesn't take orders from anyone. He's at war with the Savage Kings and he can't be distracted but... Holly is this sweet girl who has made some bad decisions. She opted to be away from her demanding and infuriating parents. Away from their demands in order to live her life the way she chooses. When her best friend's father is sent go help her... And... Another one bites the dust... This book was so freaking awesome. Stellar plot, well written, super engaging, and intense. The way the story progressed left me wanting to keep reading and reading until it was over. Guys, I was so into the story that I read it in one sitting. It's amazing to see the more skeptical people fall madly in love. Loved the chemistry between the characters and the desire that transpires from each page. And the hit stuff blew my mind away. It was awesome to have a few questions left from the previous books answered. It all made sense. Loved it. And the Fury brothers... How I miss those guys. Another amazing book Lane and DB. You guys nailed it once again. Can't wait for the next book from this series... That new cover... Hot...
As much as I enjoyed being back with these characters, it's definitely bittersweet, knowing this series is wrapping up. This storyline is intricately wound with Bear and RJ's stories - and I STRONGLY recommend reading those before this one.
Isaac is the President of the Devil Hounds, a smaller MC, that made some poor decisions, the biggest one being the "kidnapping" of a young man connected to the Savage Kings MC. Torin and Chase (from the SKMC mother chapter) leave Isaac very little choice about how things will move forward for his club. But this isn't his biggest problem. Holly is. These two have chemistry and steamy scenes that are soo hot, I'm surprised my tablet didn't explode! 😳😏😁
Holly is Lyla's (Isaac's youngest daughter) best friend. She is also having a secret relationship with Isaac! I did find myself not really liking her manipulative (bolstered by Brooke) behavior. But as we all know, karma has a way of evening things out.
I am really pleased with how this storyline twisted around, and the resolution for both Holly and Isaac. It was hard to put this down. I enjoy my time with the Savage Kings MC, and I'm excited to see what happens in Greer's story. It's sad to think about the end of this series, as it has provided me hours of enjoyment, but it's exciting to anticipate what may come next, from this talented author duo.
I strongly recommend reading this series in the correct reading order to get the most from the storyline, and characters. Totally worth your time.

Alone for years since losing his wife, Isaac spends his time taking care of his MC and watching over his daughter. A new relationship isn't in the cards for him.
Holly has been alone for most of her life. Her disinterested parents and lack of many long-term stable relationships leave her reaching out and trying to make a connection with someone. Her loneliness leads her to make bad decisions out of that desperation for companionship.
One stunningly poor decision leaves Holly without her car, money or phone. Her only friend sends her father to rescue Holly from the bar where she's been abandoned by her thieving date. Isaac finds Holly to be beautiful while at the same time feeling like a bit of a perv since she's so much younger than he is. Holly, maybe having a few daddy issues due to the emotional distance of her parents, is immediately and intensely attracted to Isaac. Her unsuccessful seduction leaves her a bit bruised and feeling lonelier than ever.
Despite his best intentions, Isaac finds himself returning to Holly again and again, despite his fears that his daughter won't approve. He's torn - his treatment of his daughter Laurel has caused them to be estranged. He loves her dearly and will do anything to get her back into his life. He's convinced she won't approve of a relationship between himself and her best friend. After a rough life in the MC that at times requires brutality, he proves himself to be a bit of a coward when it comes to his daughter.
I was a bit disappointed in Isaac's character due to his hot and cold treatment of Holly. However, even as a middle-aged man, he proves that he can grow and evolve, finally realizing that he's entitled to happiness, affection and love. He goes from zero to hero in my mind, as he reaches for what he wants and steps up to love Holly the way she deserves.
Definitely an unexpected pairing, but their story ends in a heart-warming happily-ever-after.
Four stars for this age gap romance.

Issac is the President of the Devils Hounds MC. Ever since the Savage Kings MC set up a chapter in Rockland, he’s been worried about the implications for his club. He’s bogged down with club business when he gets a phone call from Lyla asking him to help out her best friend Holly who’s in a bind. He reluctantly agrees but by the time he arrives, Holly’s too drunk to hold on, so he takes her to the nearest diner to sober her up. Holly is a beautiful and sexy young woman and the outfit she’s wearing is provocative. He finds himself in a bind when he realises he’s attracted to her. Holly finds Lyla’s father sexy as sin, and after a tease, she begins a hot and heavy relationship with him. She feels guilty about Lyla but she’s crazy about Issac. Sneaking around isn’t ideal but it’s better than losing Lyla or Issac. Issac finds himself torn more than once between his decisions between Lyla and Holly. His never forgiven himself for the death of his first wife and the guilt he carries influences a lot of his decisions, not always for the best… This is an excellent read that slots itself into the series seamlessly and knits everything together. The chemistry between Issac and Holly is hot and heavy. What started as a tease develops into complications and inevitably heartbreak. How the story plays out is interesting, addictive, heartbreaking and fast paced. Everything you love about the Savage Kings series. Absolutely brilliant.
“Isaac’s had one foot out the door the entire time since this all started.”
Ok, I can’t believe I’m saying this but after Remy this is my favorite book in the series. I never particularly liked Isaac in the past but oh my goodness did he win me over! To begin with, he was more damaged than I realized. He really broke my heart. He also has a wicked, sarcastic sense of humor, which surprised me. And I think deep down inside he’s a bit of a softie. He was definitely his own worst enemy and unfortunately poor Holly often paid the price with him.
Holly was great. I always liked her. She was sweet and strong and has a big heart. Even though I wondered if there was possibly something going on between them, especially in Bear’s book, I was never sure. I certainly didn’t think they would be right for each other but again, I was so wrong. And I’m very happy I was.
This book is not a standalone. At a minimum you must read Bear and RJ’s books first. And if you haven’t read any, my advice is go ahead and start with book one. This series is my favorite of all of them and I’ve been a fan for quite awhile. The authors state that the next book, Greer, is probably last. I certainly hope not. I’ve been waiting very patiently for a few more years to pass and keep hoping the series will end with Jordan. He’s one of my absolute favorites in the series and I’ll be very disappointed if he doesn’t get his own book.
MMC/FMC- Isaac and Holly POV- 1st person dual Genre- MC Romance Heat level- they do all the things and explore some light kink. Series? Y, and this book is better if you read the rest of the series, particularly book 3 (Bear). Safety: - Cliffhanger? N -Cheating/Sharing? N -OM/OW Drama? N -Virginity/Celibacy? N/Y -HEA/HFN? Y Triggers: The Biker’s Trifecta (language, violence, explicit erotic content) Tropes: Best Friend’s Father/Daughter’s Best Friend, Secret/Surprise Pregnancy, Dysfunctional Family FTW, Secrets and Lies, Make Room for Daddy What I liked- there was a lot of unexpected humor! The main characters didn’t always make the best choices, but this led to interesting and sometimes humorous situations, which drove the plot. And the characters weren’t always likable, but that made them more human and realistic. What I didn’t- not much. Verdict- recommended. This book was entertaining. Give it a shot.

Isaac is the president of the Devil Hounds. His wife has been gone for over 20 years and has not remarried or been in any serious relationships. Alone and taking care of his 2 daughters, he’s made some mistakes. Holly is a friend of Layla’s (Isaac’s daughter), she has two parents who really don’t pay any attention to her, nor have they been interested in anything she does. Making a bad choice one night, Layla sends Isaac to “rescue” her friend. Sparks fly, and Isaac finds it hard to keep his hands to himself.
Both not wanting to upset Layla, things are kept on the down-low. However, with Holly’s background, she is insecure and even though she knows Isaac is not out for a relationship, she wants more. Isaac, being the rough and tough biker, doesn’t believe he is entitled to any type of happiness and goes about the whole relationship with Holly all wrong.
Decisions have to be made, secrets are plenty and trouble is brewing. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Isaac is the fifth book in the Savage Kings MC-Virginia Chapter series. I love me some Savage Kings and was surprised that the book focused on the President of the Devil Hounds MC, Isaac. When his daughter Lyla's best friend Holly came into the mix, it became even more of a mystery. But then I thought it was because of Lyla's marriage to Savage King Barrett Fulton. Well, that mystery was solved deep into the book, which, once you start reading it, you will not want to put it down. The storyline even has the Fury Brothers coming to town!
With a ton of drama and some very steamy romance, and a little MC action, this book is one of my favorites in the series. Greer is next up and, sadly, maybe the last in this series. I hope Lane Hart and D.B. West have a bunch more of these series up their collective sleeves. I live pretty vicariously through the women these men love, respect, and protect.

This book is about two best friends who meet in college named Lyla and Holly. Holly is two years older but lived in the dorms for all 4 years so she and Lyla overlapped a couple of years. Holly's parents are rich and controlling so she leaves them and gets the education degree she wants, not the doctorate or law degree they want for her. Lyla's father is the president of an MC and her mother has died 20 years ago. While Lyla is still attending college, and Holly already is in thecworkforce, Holly goes on a horrendous date and needs help. Holly calls Lyla and Lyla calls her dad Isaac to help Holly. I don't really want to go into anymore detail about the story because it would contain spoiler alerts and I don't want to deprive anyone from reading this book. I finished reading this book in one day because I couldn't stop. West and Hart continue to write great books. This one is a must read and great addition to the series.
I love it when I get the whole backstory, but this was so much more! I didn’t expect to like Isaac very much especially after reading the last two books. I thought I understood why he did the things he did, but it was different to learn about everything from his perspective. I was a bit torn by Holly. One one hand, she was ridiculously naive to go out with some rando who approached her at a gas station. On the other, she had no problem repeatedly trying to seduce a much older outlaw biker who was also her best friend’s dad! I did feel for her with what she went through with her parents, and the childhood she described was heartbreaking. Isaac and Holly’s chemistry was undeniable! I loved it when they were together. Isaac fought himself, hard, but the heart wants what it wants! The scene when they come clean to Isaacs family was very funny!.

This is the 5th book in the Savage Kings MC Virginia series featuring the delicious age-gap romance between Isaac and Holly. I was on the fence about Isaac after meeting him in Bear's book and then some more in RJ's then we get to really see what kind of man he is with Holly. Isaac is the President of the MC so he's in charge and responsible for all of the members and even though he's older he still feels responsible for his wife's death. Iyla is Isaac's daughter and she's Holly's best friend when Holly's latest date steals her car and ditches her she turns to Iyla for help. The only thing is that it's Isaac who comes to her aid and little did he know how doing a favor for his daughter Iyla and going to rescue her best friend would change his whole life. You really need to read this delicious age-gap romance to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book.

This is a strong and powerful five-star read, much like the main man of the story. When you read Isaac, its not clear from the start just how strong he is, as he lost something so precious and felt such heavy guilt that it would overshadow how you see yourself, but as the story progresses you can see just how strong he is. Holly is just adorable, and you can see why Isaac would fall so hard for her. Its just not fair that he has so much in his life that he’s responsible for that their path may not be as smooth as they deserve. I was so happy with the way this story flowed and the end, the only thing that saddened me was the realisation that Greer is the next story and his may be the last of this chapter. But these boys are ever growing, so maybe a newly named chapter will give us some more stories.
Isaac Perry is President of the Devil Hounds MC. His daughter calls him one night, her friend was left stranded by a date, he stole her car and purse. Holly is too young for him but there is something about Holly that drives him to distraction. He tries to stay away but he keeps coming back to her house. She temps him at every turn.
Isaac and Holly start something, keeping it a secret from his daughter. When Isaac's relationship with his daughter starts to break down, he pushes Holly away.
After reading the first four books of the series, I had an opinion of Isaac, that this book gave him a different spin. As the pres of a MC he has to be harsh, but he really believes some of what he does is to protect his family. There is a lot drama, Isaac puts Holly thru the ringer.

Holly is a teaser when it comes to attracting Isaac. In her mind, it doesn't matter that there's 20 yrs. difference between them, but it does swirl in his head plus the fact Holly is his daughter's best friend. Holly does every trick in the book finding ways to get his attention & have him come knocking at her door for a booty call when he says, "never again" only to return for another chance to be close to her again. Will the 'third chance' be the last one for Isaac or will he continue to blow up his chances to return into her life? Just like Barrett, I found the surprise hilarious & it brought out my grins & chuckles when the truth was revealed. Just to see their faces, in the way the authors described this moment in the final chapters, is priceless! Excellent read!

Isaac Perry is the Devil Hounds MC President who's in his 40's. When his youngest daughter askes him to go help a friend. Holly Garrison she's 23 and not that bright she goes on a date with a guy and he ends up not only stealing her purse but her car as well. Isaac does what he can to help get her things back. Holly's got it bad for her best friend's dad they start messing around trying not to get caught then Holly's life changes. How will his family take that he's been messing around with a woman his youngest daughter's age. Love the chemistry between Isaac and Holly it was off the charts. Can't wait for the next book.

3.5 stars for me. I really wanted to like this but didn't love either main character. When Isaac, a 40+ year old man can't handle his feelings, he lashes out by slut shaming the h. "Where are you going looking like a two dollar whore?" And Holly.... in one chapter she's saying how Lyla is her only friend and she can't betray her by being with her father, then in the next chapter she's hard core going after Isaac by sending him videos of herself. I love a good age gap, I love the best friend's father trope... but these two seemed solely based on sex and not because they truly liked each other and wanted to be together. I didn't feel like they knew each other at all or really had a relationship worth risking Lyla finding out and being upset.
Isaac is the fifth in the Savage Kings MC Virginia chapter. I’ve read Lane Hart and DB West many times, so when this title became available I was thrilled to review the next title in the series.
This was an intense read! I truly enjoyed the developing relationship between Isaac and Holly. The building tension between the two of them kept me turning the page. As a caring and protective father and man, Isaac struggles to overcome many of his preconceived ideas regarding Holly. It’s difficult for the both of them to admit their true feelings because not only is Holly younger than Isaac, but she is also his daughter’s best friend.

WOW 😯 I don’t have the right words to describe how good this was. I’m honestly a bit shocked by how much I loved Isaac. After meeting him in Bear’s book, and then more in RJ’s story too, I wasn’t sure how I really felt about him, but while he was showing Holly what kind of man he was, he also did a pretty good job of showing me how dang amazing he is too lol. There was plenty of action, drama, twists and turns, and of course, no shortage of spice and passion. The Savage King’s series NEVER disappoints 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I can not wait for Greer’s story next!!!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is the 5th book in the Savage Kings: Virginia MC series. You can read each book as a standalone. Isaac is the president of the Devil Hounds MC but after he kidnapped a member of the Savage Kings. They are threatening to take his club down if they doesn't join them. He just wants to keep everyone safe. Holly finds herself stranded after a date steals her car, phone and purse. Calling her best friend Lyla for help she sends her dad to the rescue. What better way to get over a horrible date than to tempt a hot biker. Wowzer this book was super hot. I loved this age gap romance. Very swoon worthy.
This was a lovely story about Isaac and Holly They learn to meet when Isaac's daughter asks her to help her friend Holly. Because she got into trouble by going out with a man who can't be trusted because not only does he steal her bag but also her car. When he tries to help her there is a spark of attraction and chemistry right there and that grows into sneaky encounters and hidden hot scenes, all in secret because no one can find out that you have anything because she is young of age of his youngest daughter. This is a wonderful MC story and is definitely recommended to read

A steamy age-gap MC romance story. So much questions answered in this newest release. If you’ve read the previous two books Bear and Rugger’s than you’ll get some of the missing links in Isaac. Isaac attraction to his daughters best friend Holly put more complications to his already full plate as president of the Devil Hound MC. When he finally gives in its explosive, but when their secret relationship may be discovered will it end? One click to find out in this enjoyable steamy age-gap addition to the series that doesn’t disappoint. I love where this series is going and can’t wait for more!
I would have to say this is my top book for this chapter series. I don't know if it's the whole age gap or the widower finally finding happiness. The back and forth these two go through is just gut wrenching Holly feeling like she isn't good enough and Isaac feeling like he can't give her what she needs being so young and him having lived his life. Was great to get his point of view of the things that happened during Bears book and the struggle the Devil hounds have with merging with the Savage Kings.
Loved Mrs Perry she doesn't sugar coat anything and has not filter what so ever, she just cracks me up.
💞💝💞 Isaac and Holly 💞💝💞 This book is about regrets, fear and being unsure of things happening. Holly screws up and Isaac comes to take her home at her best friends and his daughters request and it goes from there. She's too young, he has fears and regrets. Lane West and D.B. Hart do a wonderful job telling the next story in the Savage Kings - Virginia MC series. I loved this book, so much angst, but I love this series and these authors! Every book they have written or will write needs to be on your TBR list!.

This is a brilliant read. Isaac is the president of the Devills Hounds MC but will do anything for his daughter Lyla so when she asks him to save her best friend Holly from a horrible date of course he goes. Holly is attracted to Isaac and when she throws herself at him he doesn't back down and they soon start a hot steamy fling. They are great together but he doesn't want a relationship so hearts get broken. Can they get their HEA especially when he finds she is keeping something big from him. Loved the ending.

Amazingly Hot Grumpy/Sunshine, Best Friend’s Father, MC Read!
I think this book has to be my favourite of this series and that’s saying a lot, because I love this series! Holly is Isaac’s younger daughter’s best friend and 20 years older younger than Isaac. While they knew one another, they did not know each other well. When Isaac comes to the rescue of Holly, their chemistry was instant and the tension between the two was intense! I read this book in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down! I loved every part of it and gobbled it up like my favourite sinful dessert! I can’t wait to read more from this series!
This is Isaac and Holly’s story. It’s my first book by these authors and wow! I really liked it. I love age-gap romances, they are so very hot! This one didn’t disappoint in that area, and was easy to read. I also enjoyed the fact there were no gruesome details about the MC; it focused en the couple and other characters, but more about their lives than the MC business. Anyway, I’m hooked, now I want to know the stories of the other characters and what happens to this couple and Lyla, Brooke, Laurel and the others.
Isaac & Holly's story was charming and a real page turner. I was hooked from the very start. Isaac believes he is responsible for his late wive's death and thinks he doesn't deserve love, but when Holly needs a ride, due to a blind date stealing her car, cash & phone, he knows he is in trouble. This is an age gap romance. Someone looking for a sweet & very hot romance, will most definitely love this book.

Isaac is the president of The devil Hounds MC and the father of Lyla, who we met in Bear's book. When he is thrown into a situation with Holly Lyla's best friend, he can't resist her. Their story has it's ups and downs but everyone deserves a second or 3rd chance in Isaac's case. His relationship with Holly is hot and they can't seem to get enough of each other but Isaac worries about how Lyla will react. So much so that he continually stops seeing Holly but can't stay away. Amazing story of an older man, daughters best friend.
