Oedipus rex was an interesting book centering around Oedipus a man who attempted to escape his fate and instead, has a tragic ending because of his hamartia being blind. This book showed important themes of fate, free will and truth. I would give this book 3 stars.

Oedipus Rex is a powerful tragedy that shows how fate and pride can destroy even the greatest of leaders. The story is gripping as Oedipus slowly uncovers the truth about his past, leading to a shocking and emotional downfall.
