Book 2 in the highly acclaimed Tom Kintrell thriller series finds Kintrell tasked with stopping Iran from making inroads to the Taliban, as America departs that war-torn land.
After leaving Afghanistan, he thought the mission was over. It had just begun.
Why was he being hunted? What did they think he knew? How did the woman fit in?
The first attempt on his life in Afghanistan revealed a traitor. The second attempt in Maryland revealed a cadre of conspirators. Conspirators who had no qualms about collateral damage.
Kintrell, not knowing who he could trust in his own government, turned to the people whose loyalty was beyond question—Lanny Alvarez of the FBI, Norm Stryker of the Philadelphia police department and Roddy Almeida, former Green Beret and CEO of Global Security LLC.
Their search for the truth would take them from Washington D.C. to Israel, Croatia, Italy and finally, the Mideast.
There could be no missteps. Those arrayed against them commanded the resources of the clandestine services, including the fringe elements tasked with wet work.
Survival demanded action. Action that at times would be brutal, which was fine with Kintrell.
I love political thrillers and especially ones that feature a military or special unit . Termination Sanction is hands down the best I have read in a long time. I was not able to predict exactly who was involved in the complex and believable plot to do harm, and the characters were all fascinating. I appreciate that the author didn't fall into typical traps , his female characters are strong and the male characters are too. You don't feel like you have to make a choice between the sexes, how refreshing!! He also does a tremendous job honestly portraying the reality that evil is real and flourishes everywhere. I will be reading every single book by this author.
In the 2and series book ( Tom Kintrell) Tom was forced to resign from the FBI and hired by a CIA like organization. Tom who is part ( Bruce Wayne) part ( James Bond) and Part Rambo is given a dangerous assignment in the Middle East. Tom has put together a very talented and creative team to accomplish the mission.
R.J. O'Rourke has done it again. Termination Sanction is another splendid page turner, full of excitement and suspense! October is a long time to wait fir more adventures!
Fast paced and interesting characters. The story kept me guessing about who the bad guys were. I have read both of R.J. O’Rourk’ books and enjoyed both. I look forward to #3.
This one didn't exactly suck but it pulled this reader pretty Damon close to start in a campfire with my Kindle. Convoluted plot, inept d I along, and a pain to follow. I'm disappointed😈
It had way to much sexual and very verbal sexual language and activity for me. The other objection, I had was the good guy can take on four or five well conditioned, well trained bad guys, and always come out, the winner.
I am so glad I found this new series I love it I would give it a ten if I could I would suggest if you are looking for something new to read give it a try!
What a good read! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I thought it was very well written. I look forward to reading more books that Mr. profile has written.
Great book excellent characters and the plot my God how did he keep up with it all. Definitely recommend this book you won’t be sorry…can’t wait for the next one!
