A little more than 3 stars!
This book is not bad! I am really picky when I buy books, and this one didn’t fit in my typical standards so I was a little afraid to read it. But I don’t regret it!
The story line is super interesting and I really liked the characters and their development. Everyone in the story matters, which isn’t always the case!
There are some weird typos in the book (maybe it’s just because I read the ebook, but every time the word was supposed to be “corners”, it was “comers”) but they aren’t bad enough to distract from the story. The writing is nice too — the dialogue feels natural and there isn’t an excruciating amount of unnecessary detail.
It’s a story of a man who opens the door to his rage and watches it multiply from there. It’s the story of a woman who has lost everything and uses it to fuel her search. It’s the story of someone who wants to help but can’t and someone who can help but doesn’t want to. Great premise! Would probably not read it again, but suggest it to other readers as a nice easy read.

An exciting thriller - a bit of a spoiler alert
Trish MacGregor is one of my favorite writers. Her books have it all: great plots, highly developed characters, plenty of action, and most fun of all, metaphysics is the backbone that makes them unique. I'm not talking fantasy, where characters have super powers, but people with real abilities. The Seventh Sense is about how a murderer's identity and ultimately his location is revealed through the teamwork of several people, two of whom after having been declared dead, awoke with the ability to read people, objects, and places and one woman with Alzheimer's Disease, whose "automatic drawings" cracked the case. There aren't many authors who weave psychic and other paranormal gifts into a plot instead of making it THE plot. I mean, many people have had near death experiences, and some do return to life gifted or changed. And automatic writing and drawing is a real thing.

a angry lawyer on his way home ran into a car on purpose, killing the husband and the wife lost the baby. the dog ran off
when he went home and his wife saw the car he confessed and they sunk the car in the water and reported it stolen. he went to the uhaul they rented to tow the car and killed the secuity guard when he caught him destroying the computer system
the wife that lost the baby was a fbi agent, she went after him with a vengence. she had some help from another man who also died and came back and they both had a sense of things that led to clues to find him where he started a fire on a boat to kill his wife. he and his wife both died

This tension-driven thriller is fast moving and a very satisfying read. The editing and proofing could be improved, as a number of times I had to reread paragraphs of quotations that actually contained more than one person speaking, so that was confusing. The author writes vivid scenes and creates characters of some depth. The believable antagonist in this novel is a raging narcissist who spins out of control. The plot weaves and interweaves, providing surprises and twists along the way. The Seventh Sense is what might develop after someone has died on the operating table, but comes back and lives on. Fun, engaging and yes, thrilling.

This was a very intense story. Charlie Calloway is a FBI agent on maternity leave expecting her first child. Then the unthinkable happens. A drunken lunatic shatters her life. The rest of the story is about how she rectifies that situation.
The powers of the human mind that can be unlocked by a near death experience is the gimmick in The Seventh Sense. But it's handled rather well. The result is a book that is hard to put down.

A solid late 90s paranormal thriller set in the Florida Keys. A bit heavy-handed with the psychic powers and near-deaths experiences, and the end felt abrupt, but the story was crazy and I liked a lot of the characters. It felt like part of a series rather than a standalone - maybe it is? Great sense of time and place and some surprisingly poignant scenes about grief and loss.

I should have enjoyed this more than I did. I think, because I have a Jodi Picoult waiting next in line, that I just wanted to get through this and onto the next book.
Anyway, Frank Benedict does not get the promotion in his law firm he was hoping for and rage takes over. He rams another vehicle not once, but twice during a drive home from his boss's house. Kills the husband and the pregnant woman's baby. The pregnanty woman, Charlie is an FBI agent. A former agent, Logan is called in to assist. He has a gift whereby he can see or sense what a person has been through by touching them. Charlie learns that she died for a moment during her trip to the hospital and discovers she too has the same gift. Charlie and Frank together discover Frank Benedict and set out to find him.

This was another thriller I read and really enjoyed. To see how a moment of rage can ruin so many lives in an instant and how following through with a moment of anger can be devastating. I remember being surprised it was written by a woman. It was fun and disturbing to read.

Very interesting story!
I enjoyed reading this ebook; however, the number of misspelled words was a bit off putting (comer for corner multiple times for example). I loved the characters and would love another chance to see Charlie and Logan in action!

The writing was so bad, I'm still not sure why I read the whole thing. Two stars for interesting storyline.
