The largest book on G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero ever written, this comprehensive and witty book is the ultimate guide to the G.I. Joe TV and comic book series. Written by Lars Pearson (Wizard, ToyFare magazines), Now You Know features story summaries, reviews, top ten lists and a heap of humorous categories on more than 100 G.I. Joe TV episodes. Also included: full coverage of all G.I. Joe comic series, a complete toy price guide and fact-filled appendices.
This is by far the best book on the subject of GI JOE ever. It covers the comics and cartoon. The comic books, which people tend to forget, had a much more serious and adult story line. They were not silly like the cartoons. I have read this book at least 4 times. Each time finding something new, that really sunk in. The author really delves deep into each comic and cartoon story and points out the fun, flaws, and plot points of all.
I'm a huge fan of these unauthorized guides, and this is a good one. I don't always agree with all of their opinions, but I certainly do appreciate them.
