Ever since his mother’s death bed confession, Adam “Rocket” Coburn’s life has been in a spiral. His trust has been shattered and everything he thought he knew about himself is a lie. When Rocket is injured while on a mission, he’s drawn to his nurse, against his better judgement. Until the bandages come off his eyes and he sees exactly who has been helping him. Once again, someone he trusted betrayed him.
Nurse Rebecca Nelson never meant to deceive Adam. The truth was always on the tip of her tongue, but she enjoyed getting to know him without the past getting in their way. But she also knew, once her identity was revealed, their budding friendship would be tested. When she finds herself in a precarious situation, Adam is the one to rescue her.
Adam tries to keep his distance from Rebecca, but their paths keep crossing and he can’t deny he wants her. Maybe he can trust Rebecca… Until a past encounter threatens their burgeoning relationship and their lives.
USA Today Bestselling author Nicole Flockton writes sexy contemporary romances, seducing you one kiss at a time as you turn the pages. Nicole likes nothing better than taking characters and creating unique situations where they fight to find their true love.
On her first school report her teacher noted "Nicole likes to tell her own stories". It wasn’t until after the birth of her first child and after having fun on a romance community forum that she finally decided to take the plunge and write a book.
Apart from writing Nicole is busy looking after her very own hero – her wonderfully supportive husband, and two fabulous kids. She also enjoys watching sports and, of course, reading.
I really enjoyed Rocket and Rebecca’s story. They have an undeniable spark between them, but because of his mama issues, the H isn’t willing to let the h or anyone else for that matter in. Overall I loved this book and can honestly say i’ll be adding it to my favorites shelf. I’m bummed to see the series end but I’m happy Growler is getting his own book and will get to meet Oz and everyone else at Alliez Security. I’m also thinking/hoping will be seeing Rabbit and his team again since he ended up being a pretty cool guy. Plus, we got a little taste of him and a certain someone, so crossing fingers.
Saving Rebecca is another great addition to the Special Forces: Operation Alpha series by Nicole Flockton. I love these romantic suspense books that are written in Susan Stoker’s world. Nicole Flockton writes great characters. Rebecca and Rocket’s story is a sexy slow burn one. They have a post to overcome, but they are help each other. Rocket is injured, and Rebecca is his nurse. They can’t deny the sparks that lead them down a road try a happily ever after. Rebecca is a strong woman, and Rocket is perfect for her. I couldn’t put the book down. Changes are coming for the team. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
Rocket and Rebecca’s story is filled to the brim with so many great things, including action, suspense, and all the best characters you could hope for!
It was truly a joy to dive into yet another incredible creation by Nicole Flockton!

One of Nicole's best books so far! Rocket has been pulling away from his team ever since his mother's death confession. This author always gives you a great story. In this case both the hero and heroine are strong people. They have a history of sorts, since she took care of his mom. There's different scenarios going in this book, between teams, his moms betrayal, and other factors. This was an excellent read with a HEA.
Love discovering new to me authors! I really enjoyed this storyline! I thought the characters were well developed. I liked that they were both strong in different ways.

We are back with the men of Navy SEAL Team Alpha. This time the story belongs to Adam/Rocket Coburn. After a mission gone wrong, one in which he got badly injured and with his eyes currently wrapped in gauze, Adam finds himself in the Navy hospital . If before the injuries he was grumpy after his mother’s deathbed confession, he is even worse nowadays. The only solace he finds is the nurse assigned to him. Little does he realize it’s the same one that cared for his mother and whom he wants nothing to do with. Prior to returning to regular nursing, Rebecca Nelson had been a palliative care nurse. The one that had cared for Adam’s mother and knew he resented her for hearing the confession. But care she would even though she knew once he realized who she was, would hate her. When danger comes to Rebecca after Adam is released, he goes to her rescue. Will he be able to keep her safe? Will feelings develop between them? Can he overcome the past and be open to a future filled with hope and love? This was another engaging story with likable characters. If you have read the previous stories in the series, you’ll get a chance to visit with those characters as well. I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
Oh, how sad I am to see the end this wonderful series! But I know Ms. Flockton is spinning this off into a new one, so I have hope that some of our favorite people will pop back up from time to time (I'm partial to Penni. Hmmm....wonder why?)
Rocket lost his mother recently. But before her death, she revealed a secret that was the ultimate betrayal of his love and trust. Because of that, he's through with women, through with love and opening his heart to anyone. Enter Rebecca.
After an accident, Rocket ends up in the hospital, with his eyes wrapped. His nurse is an angel on earth and he find himself to drawn to her. The feeling is mutual.
Until his bandages are removed...and he discovers that Rebecca is the same nurse who took care of his mother...and was there the night he was betrayed.
Oh, but if this weren't all enough, there's a madman on the loose, hellbent on getting revenge against those he's perceived as slighting him.
Thrilling book, with so much heart! And it's just amazing to see all our favorite guys and their gals together again. We catch up with Hank, Jen, Maddie, Kaleb, Penni, Knox, etc.
Just a perfect ending to a perfect series. I cannot wait for Allez Security boys next!
I loved Saving Rebecca (Special Forces: Operation Alpha Book 6 of Seal Team Tango. Adam is still reeling from his mother’s confession when he feels like Rebecca lied to him as well. Unfortunately, he’s so drawn to Rebecca but he needs to make a decision about forgiveness and moving on. When Rebecca is in danger he knows he’s ready for their future but he’s still a SEAL and still has a job to do. They think the danger for Rebecca is over but is it? Great storyline and characters. Lots of suspense and danger along with steamy scenes. She’s a tough cookie while he’s an alpha male. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

Rocket/Adam is injured in the eyes during a mission. He gets to know the nurse assigned to him, but when they take bandages off, she is the same nurse that was helping his mom when she died of cancer and told him a humiliating secret. He distances himself from her until they learn she is in trouble and the team is off to rescue her, hopefully in time. Loved the characters, storyline all the way to the ending. Great personalities, chemistry, drama, danger, revelations, steamy moments, entertaining situations and vivid locales. This book had me glued to the very end, with so much going on and deep feelings flying around. Well done.

Saving Rebecca is the 6th and last book in the Seal Team Tango series, but it can easily be read as a stand-alone. I loved how all the team members and their partners have roles to play in Rocket and Rebecca's story. They have a past and are re-united and thrown together again until they get the message that their love is meant to be. Of course there are challenges along the way and this story contains everything from bad dates, cute kids, danger, suspense, a bit of spice and finally, a well-deserved HEA.

Who is Adam "Rocket" Coburn? Why did his life spiral? Who is Rebecca Nelson? How does she meet Rocket? Oh goodness, where do we find Rocket and Growler in the prologue? Who are Shelley and Ellie? How does Rebecca know them? How does she meet all of the ladies? I loved how the team came together to rescue two ladies locally before going on their mission. Who did they rescue, and what was going on? What was funny for me was when Phantom and Kaliee joined Rocket and Rebecca on the beach. Who is Alfie? How does Rebecca meet him? What happens the next time she sees him? Oh, I was surprised with what I learned about Alfie. Read and see what happens!
Rebecca and Adam have a past . She was a nurse who looked after his mum. When his mum caused him pain, and now distrust on her death bed. Adam is humiliated that Rebecca witnessed this. When Adam, gets injuries in the eyes on a mission, it is Rebecca who nursed him. Problem is he did not know until the bandages come off. When Rebecca is in danger, it is Adam and goes his team sent to rescue her. Can he get to her in time.
This book has suspense , twists, turns, drama and emotions.

A great emotional journey and story. Adam is hospitalized after being injured on a mission. He is in the hospital and is getting to know his nurse, who unknown to him, is the same nurse that took care of his mother when she was dying. She heard the mothers deathbed confession that blindsided Adam and caused him to mistrust women. When the bandages come off and he see his nurse and feels betrayed again. Will he forgive her?.

Rebecca took care of Rocket's mom when she was dying and now is his nurse. When his bandages come off and he sees who she is he wants nothing to do with her. Rebecca is willing to try again with Rocket and see where they go. There are so many emotions with action, learning to trust, and a death bed confession and love. We get to see the team, but I think changes are coming for them can't wait to see what happens next.
I love Rebecca's strength & how the ladies became friends first. Despite me wanting to slap Rocket a couple of time, love how he realised his mistake & took things in hand. Amazing team bond & the ladies rock. Fabulous ending!.

Rocket and Rebecca have a bit of a rocky start. Luckily, for Rocket, Rebecca is willing to try again. I loved who they were together. Got to see more of the team(and their significant others). There was action, emotions, character growth, and love. Looking forward to the new series.
Definitely recommend this book. The story behind Rebecca and Rocket the past together to get by and the now and future are a fantastic read. Did not want to put this down.
Loved this story. Rocket got hurt on a mission. Rebecca was his nurse. Rebecca was Rockets moms nurse before she died of cancer. Rockets moms told him a secret on her death bed. He was really bitter about that.
Excellent story. Rebecca and Rocket make a great couple after their rocky start. They supported each other through difficulties. As always, great to have the previous characters and more about them. Looking forward to the start of the new series and what is in store for Growler.
Loved this book!! The stories get better and better! I am also glad this story also includes the team and their families, and catches us up with everyone. KEEP THEM COMING!
Saving Rebecca, another winner by Nicole Flockton in her Seal Team Tango series which is part of Susan Stocker’s Special Forces: Operation Alpha. Adam ‘Rocket’ Coburn and Rebecca Nelson have a shared history that Adam isn’t quite so certain he can get past. Little does Adam know it’s nurse Rebecca providing his care at the Base Hospital after a mission went terribly wrong and his eyes are left bandaged to allow him time to heal. Once the bandages come off, so do the gloves as Adam’s resentment towards Rebecca rears it’s nasty head. It’s not too long before cooler heads prevail and their slow burn romance begins to ignite one spark at a time, but can Adam keep Rebecca safe as danger comes calling? Adam and Rebecca are strong and likeable characters in this well written story that will keep you turning the pages to the end.
Holy hell this was absolutely fantastic and my new favourite book Ms Flockton!! I really enjoyed reading this awesome story, where I found myself totally captivated and eagerly turning the pages to find out what was going to happen next. I was unable to take a break until I finished reading the story, but most importantly, I will happily recommend this book to any avid romance reader. Definitely pick this one up. Happy reading
