Very good historical information along with some anecdotal funnies.
Highly recommend for brewers interested into this style.

Gone a bit above and beyond the depths of the series. Total bangerz. Naughty.

Did you know that the first trademark in the history of Planet Earth was Bass' red triangle, used to identify their famous Bass No. 1, the first known Barley Wine? Well, you would have if you had read this book, moron.

I have not yet brewed my barley wine, but I can already tell that this book will be extremely useful.

The book starts with some interesting history of barley wine, and proceeds into recommendations for the entire brewing process.
