Frédérik Peeters (born 13 August 1974, in Geneva) is a contemporary Swiss graphic novelist. He received his bachelor of arts degree in visual communication from the École Supérieure d’Arts Appliqués in Geneva in 1995. Peeters currently lives with his partner Cati, her son, and their daughter in Geneva.

His autobiographical graphic novel Blue Pills received the Polish Jury Prize at the Angoulême International Comics Festival, where it was also nominated for Best Book. Blue Pills also won the Premios La Cárcel de Papel in Spain for Best Foreign Comic. This is his first work to be translated into English.

Zanimljivost vezana uz ovaj album je da sam ga posudila u knjižnici prije cca godinu i pol i da mi se nije svidio, vratila sam ga nakon što sam pročitala prve tri stranice. A sad mi je bio apsolutno genijalan. Što smo iz toga naučili? Da ne trebam čitati stripove kad sam loše volje jer moj subjektivni doživljaj može biti opterećen mojom nervozom. (Ujedno se pitam što da onda, zaboga, radim kad sam loše volje?)
Strip je predivno nacrtan, odlično režiran i zbog toga jako vješto uvodi čitatelja u ambijent neobičnih planetarnih sustava, svemirskih letova, egzotičnih biljaka, životinja i opojnih droga. Glavni lik, Lupus, je odlično profiliran - pametan je, dobro izgleda, karakter-coctail mu se sastoji od sjajnog omjera pitomog, plemenitog i avanturističkog, sa sobom vuče i niz manjih i većih trauma koje ga proganjaju kroz snove, ima zgodan platonski odnos s glavnom junakinjom. Zapleti i obrati su totalno nepredvidivi i to je jedan od razloga zbog kojih mi se svidio strip, tako da sav taj predivan crtež nije tek tako bezveze posijan po svim tim stranicama nego baš lijepo nosi priču, zbilja se dobro nadopunjuju.

Lupus is a fantastic history. A bit chaotic initially(originally) but little mas is hooking you to every page. Already is the well-read one two volumentes and I me expect to read other two shortly because the truth is that it has hooked me very much. I want to know that it was happening with his protagonists.

Lupus es una historia fantastica. Un poco caotica al principio pero te va enganchando un poco mas a cada pagina. Ya me he leido dos volumentes y espero leerme los otros dos en breve porque la verdad es que me ha enganchado mucho. Quiero saber que pasara con sus protagonistas.
