Tangle wants out. When the opportunity comes, she grabs it. I can go anywhere… but I can't leave myself behind. But stealing a top-secret teleportation device has consequences. Lots of people with guns would like it back. Tangle has to think fast to stay one step ahead, but it's worth she's living the dream, seeing amazing places. So why can't she forget about the boy she left behind? Sometimes all I want is to be nowhere at all. The company she stole from will do anything to retrieve what's theirs, even threaten her family and friends. This was a great quick read aimed at a younger audience in the teens range.

Tangle wants to escape her boring life and discovers a secret teleportation device that offers her the freedom she is seeking.
After journeying to amazing places, she realises the consequences of her actions and has to decide whether this device is worth the risks that come along with it.

This was an exciting read in the main. The start was fast-paced as we build towards the discovery and the first few journeys were full of adventure and had me gripped.
I feel that the pace slowed a little after this as we follow Tangle in her adventures - but the pace picked back up towards the ending again.

This was well written and I can see it appealing to lots of younger readers.
With a relatable main character and the sci-fi topic there's definitely something for all.

I loved that Tangle was so bold and think she will be a good role model for those finding themselves in a slump. By changing your mindset and exploring other options, you can change your life and achieve the goals that you might have.

An enjoyable read that will be a great addition to any school library or home bookshelf.

Entangled is a young adult novel that follows the story of Tangle, a fourteen year old girl who’s desperate to escape her mundane life. She finds the excitement she’s looking for, thanks to the help of an exceptional scientist, it soon realises that she’s out of her depth.

The first half of this book was exciting and fast paced. I enjoyed the story and Tangle’s well thought out plan of how to travel the world.

After this I feel like the book hit a bit of a slump and started to read more like a travel blog.

The style of writing fit with the young narrative style of the main character, however it felt out of place when in the scientist’s point of view.

Overall I'd say it was an enjoyable read that is more suited to young teenagers.

Thank you to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for providing mewith this arc.

I received an ARC of this from NetGalley. This is my honest review.
I enjoyed the premise of this book very much, but I got lost with the scientific explanations. As I told my husband, "Too much sci, not enough fi." And I feel like I didn't get to know Tangle well enough to really care about her or want to root for her. I also didn't enjoy the scenes told from Dodo's POV, though I can see why they were necessary.
Just not the book for me, unfortunately.

Entangled was an amazing experience to me. It had every elements to make a book interesting: amazing plot, meaningful conversations, perfect description about how any characters feel and what not. The book has given me the urge to leave my current life and just go wherever I want and do whatever I want; sadly not everyone is as lucky as Tangle. The twists are unexpected but thrilling. The book also has piqued my interest to travel and to read the Jumper series (thanks for the recommendation). And the author notes to the story was totally fascinating. I hope there are sequels planned for this book.

Solid YA read. The concept and idea is a lot of fun. The ending leaves a lot of room for imagination and a sequel. The main character also acted like an actual teenager which is a nice change.
