This book has an interesting mix of projects with decent photos. I wasn't able to reproduce some of the brush strokes she illustrated, but the author has an active Instagram account with lots of reels. The book was useful for deconstructing the techniques she uses on Instagram.

Maybe relaxation the second time one tries the watercolor. I appreciate that she doesn't try to get you to replicate her painting exactly, giving you freedom of expression, but my first attempts were a little frustrating until I came back to the project the next day with a new attempt. I did jump ahead to the projects where I probably should have warmed up with the earlier projects first.
