One of my most favorite books, ever, hands down. i am teaching my 3 yr old to live by these spiritual laws. her faborite day so far? Mondays, which she knows to be the Day of Giving.... a truly remarkable read. I cant recommend highly enough. Saturday, when my child wakes, i will remind her that she's here for a reason (day of dharma).... i'll tell her she's here to cure cancer or to become an accomplished ballerina, whatever her heart desires. Her smile will light up the room & she'll know these things are possible. So on sunday, the day of Pure Potentiality, i will reinforce to her 'ALL things are possible, no matter what.' In Louise Hays' book, 'you can heal your life' she claims that studies have proven that whatever you tell your child about GOD at the age of 3, ultimately shapes their entire belief system & becomes their faith foundation. My goal is for my little one, to learn now, @ this highly moldable/impressionable age of 3, the spiritual laws Deepak puts forth in this amazing, step by step guide of a book. The foundation of beliefs she's building now most certainly is certainly not limited to just thoughts about GOD. Therefore, understanding that her view of the world around her is being dramatically (and possibly irrevocably?) shaped by what is presented to her @ this age of 3. With Deepak' guidance, I know i am sharing time with my equal, my teacher, my fellow spirit : my child. And consciously raising one of the next great thinkers of the future generation.

I am a new mommy. I've only been a mommy for a little over a year. I had neve planned on having children or getting married for that matter. Life took it's course and here I am going to the library getting books on how to potty train, how to be a better mommy, how to dicipline my child and the best nutrition for a little one. Of course I had to get this one, "The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success for Parents," by Deepak Chopra being he is one of my favorite authors.

Sometimes when I am enjoying a boook and I can see there is a lot to learn from it, I speed through it making mental notes of what I need to remember and what I need to do. I am so excited to find something so informative I can't put the book down and my speed reading makes me forget everything I learned. Alas I find myself re reading it. THIS is one of those books. So much to learn from. So many great tips.

It reminds us how blessed we are to have our children. How we must respect them and love them and the importance of how to dicipline them with both love and respect. There is much more to learn but this was my favorite part.

Would I recommend this book? Sure would. But if you aren't a very spiritual person and like logic and straight to the point stuff, you might not enjoy this one so much. It's worth a shot though.

A lovely little book! This summarises the seven laws clearly, translates them into child-friendly language, gives examples of how to demonstrate/model them, discuss them, actively participate in them, and provides a day-by-day game plan for making each and every one of them an active, intentional part of your life and your children's. Well worth reading more than once!

Originally read July 10/11, 2014. Reread in one go on Feb 18, 2016. I will probably re-read it at least once more in the next month or so.

This book is lofty but if the suggestions are utilized, children would be gifted with powerful tools and habits to carry into their adult life creating many more conscious citizens. I think many busy parents will find it challenging to practice the principles, but even applying a few may make family life much more rewarding.

Very good follow up to the Seven Spiritual Laws if you have children. Also introduces another perspective on discipline and child psychology...they are just miniature versions of us and basically mirror what we do and who we are (which sometimes can be scary) :)

Desse modo, a Lei do Mínimo Esforço engloba a fé e a paciência.

The humbleness that arises when we realize that we are in this life to learn, that our children don't belong to us, that they are our companions in this journey, that we are not their parents to mold them into our desires or to fill our voids, but that they are our children to teach us the spiritual lessons we need to learn...

I found much of the book I couldn’t relate to or wouldn’t actually do/say. The laws were somewhat useful, though I found the explanation and suggested exercises too much for me personally. The one fabulous line I loved was “if you want to get something, give it” (the second law). Not anything new really, but the wording seems perfect for a child, and it was a good reminder.

Clearly and concisely written. I agree wholeheartedly with everything he has written. While I found the daily activities outlined to be too regimented and inflexible to my taste, I appreciate the idea of openly and consciously addressing all spiritual laws of nature with children from birth. I would just prefer to intermingle the discussion and activities as they naturally arise day to day.

On my journey of healing and becoming, I wanted to start with my parenting first. I would definitely reccomend to those who are looking to uplift their child with lots of love, light, and want to build that strong connection. I took away a lot of advice that has helped me communicate with my babies better. Chefs Kiss!

It's Deepak Chopra but he's not the narrator of the audio. I enjoyed Seven Spiritual Laws and will probably just stick to the original paperback version instead. I don't feel I gathered any new material that I didn't already take away from the original.

I have teenagers now, but I wish I would have started this younger with them. I did each day on vacation last week and it made for great conversations. It could be also used for my classroom. I borrowed from the library but may have to buy it in order to remember all of the days.

Pretty neat take on parenting. I thought it would have more to do with how can I remain connected to Source but it’s actually a guide to help encourage spirituality in children. Daily activities & readings.

This is my first Deepak Chopra book. While he has some good ideas in here, the overall belief in goodness is too new ageish for me. I just believe his view is what makes so many people depressed because they focus too much on the inside and not what we can do for others.

Good simple practices to teach children on a more simple level of understanding. Nothing particularly ground breaking but still enjoyed this book. I always love reminders on how to consciously parent.
