This issue bounces 5 years ahead and back. Kind of bringing you up to speed with what is going on when the books starts. I wish I could have all the issues, however many it’s going to be, right now to be able to read it all.

The first thing that stuck out to me in this issue was the choice to do two separate timelines interwoven. I understood doing it in the first issue of this arc. Still, now I’m wondering why the team decided to do that rather than tell the story chronologically. We now see how Josh met his partner and that Meg is protecting the family as a tree. Loretta is taken down, but Josh gets away. Now we wait to see what happens next!

Its kinda gettinf to that point where nothing is happening. I guess there shouldnt be too many more issues but I'm not sure where hes going. Kinda feels like sweet tooth and walking dead mixed

I just don’t get it. I definitely need to re-read from the beginning. It seems like nothing much ever happens.

FAMILY TREE #10, available Wednesday from Image Comics, brings us ever closer to what is starting to feel like an inevitable conclusion in Family Tree. The horror and family drama elements are still going strong, just in different ways than before.

This is one family who has seen it all. If by all, you mean the fall of civilization as we know it. They’ve been through hell and back, and still, somehow have managed to stay together. Even when certain family members have taken on…different forms.

Created by Jeff Lemire, Phil Hester, Eric Gapstur, and Ryan Cody, Family Tree #10 brings readers ever closer to the conclusion of the series, leaving us with only two issues before the end. It’s amazing (and more than a little bit horrifying) to see how quickly this world has changed.
