The Case of the Dapper Dove
A friend invites Julia, Dottie, and Penelope to spend the month of April at her bed and breakfast in historic Savannah, Georgia. The stay promises to be fun and relaxing, and it starts out that way.
The girls find a new nature preserve to explore, and Penelope and Dottie get hired as extras on a B-grade zombie movie. However, things take a wrong turn when an actress playing a zombie shoots the film’s star with a faulty prop gun and kills him.
Tourism is one of Savannah’s biggest industries and the powers that be worry the shooting will affect business. The police are under a ridiculous amount of pressure to solve the shooting case quickly, so they arrest the actress and charge her with murder. Julia is sure the cops have it all wrong, but then she learns there’s more to the case than she initially thought. For instance, the actress and star have had an on-again, off-again romance for the past several years…and then there’s the money issue.
Julia doesn’t know what to think, so she starts digging. She doesn’t know it, but what she’s about to uncover might just get her killed!

This is 7th book in my favourite serie. This one takes place in Savannah where Julia with her friends and Mason who is a granddaughter of one of her friends spend time and Julia solve another mystery. The book is well written, has nice cozy atmosphere. Can't wait to read next book in the serie.

Thoroughly Enjoyable Series
This series made me want to buy a van or RV and take off to live like a nomad. Julia and her new friends are free to travel anywhere they please, camping, exploring new places and solving murders as they go. I can't wait for the next adventure for Julia and her bird watching friends.
