This is an issue that reminded me why I enjoy this title, it's a lot of fun. The dialogue is fun and witty, and the art is outstanding.

Just when I thought the Hellions got a few new A.I. friends, they had to implement the Krakoa protocols. They never get a break.

I'm a sucker for any story featuring sentient AI / robots and whether or not they have the right to live as free beings, just as humans do. This issue however is a punch in the gut. Is there no exception to your latest directive, Charles Xavier? Must you exterminate all self-aware AIs including those that have declared mutants their friends / family?

I'm with Alex on this. Dropping the virus on the newly-freed robots was unnecessary. The mutants could have gained an ally and instead they wasted the opportunity. Considering that the development of Sentinels is pretty much inevitable in any timeline, if I were Xavier and Magneto I would have cultivated an alliance with friendly robots instead.

Also: did anyone else notice that part when one of the robots did not scan Kwannon as a mutant? What gives?

Another great issue for probably my favorite X-Men title right now.

This time Nanny gets to shine as she's not only strong but her mission is new. On top of that we get some great moments with Psylock and my boy losses "friends" again. It's just sad how shit this poor guys life really is.

Well worth reading as always. A 4 out of 5.

Nanny e Wratchild che continuano a dimostrarsi estremamente più forti e battaglieri di prima, e che condividono una segreta consapevolezza, una certezza che Amenth tornerà e che dovranno essere pronti;
quando i robot si sono liberati del controllo di Hodge e il povero Havok li stava trasformando in alleati, a Psylocke è arrivato l'ordine di terminarli da parte del Consiglio. Che non dimentichiamoci come siamo arrivati a Krakoa, quanto successo in HoX/PoX e chi sia il vero nemico degli X-Men e dei mutanti... per cui fa piacere ricordare quanto siano diventati brutali per sopravvivere i mutanti, e come non abbiano scordato il loro reale obbiettivo, continuando a monitorare in cerca di nuovi segnali di AI che si risveglino;

Hellions continues to be superb. I love the art and I love the writing.

But, also, wow...this was a wild ride, with some truly wonderful moments...not least of which was Empath figuring out that Hodge was 100% robot.

And then we have the revelation of Krakoa's anti-Ai protocols, which could bring them into conflict with a LOT of people in the Marvel universe.

But the big, gut wrenching moment was the Hellions' ultimate betrayal of the newly evolved Right robots.

Ah...there's just more to process here than I can coherently write about.

Just, you know, go read it...it's good.

Also Empath is still both the worst and the best.

I'll be one of the few voices of dissent here and say this was one of my least favorite issues of the series so far. I enjoyed the scene with Empath but the rest felt drawn out with little payoff or progression of a storyline.

The craziest X-Men title is just getting started, it seems.

The art continues to be absolutely beautiful, some of my favorite from Marvel of what I've read recently, while the storylines are funny, tense, and engaging.

While trying to get to Nanny's ship, to build a suit to contain Peter's power - otherwise Orphan Maker is a danger to the world, they encounter more racist robots. Of course they do.

That being said, this book and robots just did it even more for me. Also, looks like they can finally resurrect Orphan Maker so he can be part of the team again.

Another title I've been tough on for its inconsistentcy and also Z list cast. This issue, however, was a step above. Good action, real emotion, intrigue, back stabbing , it pretty much had it all and ends with something which may prove significant, or it may not.

The amneth comment from Wildchild was also interesting.

If it can continue to be this good and add some characterisation to previously bland characters then I'm down with this.

Last thought. True Value: robot fate = sad me.

Empath saves the day?! Who would have predicted that? Killing the Smilies is a mistake when they could have been allies. I get why the choice was made but yeah that's not going to end well. Still the best X-book right now. I'm enjoying Zeb Wells' writing. The dark humor is much appreciated.

I really liked this one. The appearance of Cameron Hodge was really random, and then it made ironic horrible sense. The betrayal killing of the robots was harsh and made me feel for them, and Alex. Empath was great in this one. Honestly, everyone was great.

Curses. Why must these secrets be kept? Wonder if this was Magneto she was talking to or Sinister….they probably had the same orders.
