He’s my grumpy boss, my ex’s older brother–and the man sleeping in my bed. Jameson Ruff is a wealthy screenwriter who looks like he should be starring in movies, not writing them. His surly demeanor is only offset by the adorable twins I’m hired to nanny for him. He’s hot and cold toward me. Impossible to please. Especially considering his assistant hired me without his approval. I’ll do whatever it takes to prove to him that hiring me wasn’t a mistake. I didn’t expect him to be so intense…or to look so good shirtless. And now I feel his eyes watching me like he’s ready to pounce. I can’t tell if he wants to fire me or do unspeakable things with me. When the kids are away, I find out what was behind those fiery looks. Catching feelings isn’t in my job description–but now I can’t see my life without those kids. Or their hot older daddy. When my past comes knocking, I fear the progress we’ve made is gone for good.
Brie has had enough of Vegas. It’s time for something different. She is hired as the new nanny for screenwriter Jameson Ruff’s twins. They are both attracted to each other, but he makes no move on her, trying to remain professional. The twins, Nora and Nash, have a good rapport with her. When Nash got lost after riding the carousel on their outing, Brie’s Aunt Jerri found him, knowing that Brie was his nanny and remembering Nash from when Brie brought the kids to the restaurant. And when Jerri walked him toward Brie and Jameson, to everyone’s surprise, Nash ran directly to Brie first, throwing his arms around her legs before turning to do the same to his dad. Jameson realized how much the kids cared for Brie, and something in his feelings shifted.
Having browsed family photos in the study previously, Brie had found a troubling picture, hoping she was mistaken. But Nora had confirmed that was her Uncle Jack standing in the picture with daddy! Since Brie and Jameson had been getting closer, she is concerned that he might be upset that his brother, Jack, was her ex-boyfriend and she hadn’t mentioned it. Will she tell Jameson first? Or will he find out the hard way when he brings Brie as his date to the movie premiere and Jack will also be attending? Will he listen to her? Or is there no further hope for a relationship between them now?
Jameson and Brie meet when she becomes the new nanny for his twins. He is drawn to her but keeps everything on a professional level. As his children blossoms and gravitate towards Brie, he begins to see her in a new light but keeps his heart on lockdown. It all changes when his son gets lost at an outing and Brie comes to the rescue. As she and Jameson get close, she knows that her dating his brother will become an issue and on when the night of the movie premiere when they run into Jack his brother things get heated. Will she lose Jameson for not explaining her relationship with his brother. This story had me in their corner to get their chance for happiness.

A great Silver Fox story with beautiful characters. Brie and Jamison meet when she takes a job babysitting his cute and fun twins. Despite the fact that both fight against the attraction that exists between them, Brie because she has to figure things out for herself and Jamison because she is the children's nanny and finds it difficult to cross the border. This was an enjoyable story and highly recommended!

This is an enemies to lovers romance, with a dash of suspense, between nanny Brie and her boss, Jameson. These two likeable souls and the unique plot make for an entertaining read. It is a captivating love story with drama and steam, humor and charm, sexual tension and chemistry on every page. Add to that an interesting cast of supporting characters to keep the reader interested. It is a solid read all around with heart, heat and a bit of fate to orchestrate a happy ending.

Anne Martin gives us a 5 star awesome reading experience
Anne Martin you have done a fantastic job with Jameson & Brie's story. I was completely hooked from page 1. To me this is what an age gap romance is about & the storyline is spot on. Will Jameson realise too late what he had right in front of him? Can't wait for the author's next book.

Brie starts to work as a nanny for the twins of Jameson Ruff, a movie screenwriter. The characters are believable. The romance is fun and steamy once the kids fall for her. Personalities and locales keep the pages turning, not knowing what to expect next. Major roadblock is her history with his brother, but how will he find out first and will it end their future? Terrific ending that brings it all together.

Jameson hires Brie to be his twin's nanny. This story is about their evolving relationship from boss/employee to lovers. However, a secret can tear them apart before they even begin. This was an interesting read with a promise for a happy ending. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and storyline.

I stood in the doorway to Nash’s bedroom. I had just put Nora to bed, and now it was my turn to come in and tuck in Nash. After Nash’s grand rescue, I invited Brie to stay with us for the rest of the day and maybe see the parade. But she had declined, stating that she had promised her parents she’d spend the day with them, and she should be heading back.
For once, a book with a decent story line. The sex wasn’t off-putting, and the story was engaging. On top of everything, there were few errors. Recommend it for a good read.
