This is a mail-order-bride romance that contains a minor element of fantasy. There is no cheating, no cliffhanger, and a happily ever after is guaranteed!

Presley persuades her twin sister to sign up for a mail-order brides programme in an effort to escape a hard life. Presley, the twins' more outgoing sister, not only finds love on this enchanted island, but she also learns about her own latent talents, which help her overcome her emotional neglect as a youngster.

Modern mail-order brides was a concept that greatly intrigued me and, although I initially found it difficult to get into the story due to all the different names and characters who appeared with little background, it completely captured my attention once the story progressed to Presley's struggle for love and her recently discovered talent with child-care, and I couldn't stop reading.

I highly recommend this lovely book to people who enjoy engaging, energetic, and easily digestible stories.

Read it in one day, loved it.

Because I follow this author as an Amazon Author, her new release dropped into my emails. It wasn't the usual genre that I've read of hers, but I thought I'd give it a go. I wasn't disappointed.

Magical realism is mentioned in passing, to make the island invisible to others, but ninety-nine percent of the book is about relationships. In particular, Presley's relationship with her twin and with her friends, Presley's relationship with her new husband, and a surprising relationship with those she meets in her new job.

On finishing (in a day) I found that this was book six of a series. I have now bought 1-5 of the series.
