This is a big departure from the dramas of the Men of Inked series, at least it felt like it for me. I feel like that series was hot and full of drama and although this book was different, it was equally inviting! One thing she did stay true to is the closeness of family. I absolutely love the way Chelle paints these big families who are ride or unalive, until the end of time, no matter what, where or who. I LOOOOOVE THAT!

Ryder is the MMC and he is absolutely perfection. Single dad moving to a new town, offering a fresh and new start to his 2 kids who are too dang close to the real deal! Their fits are amazing and had me sympathizing with the poor man.
Gracie is a tattoo artist who owns her shop and dealing with some past trauma that she is too afraid of facing.
They meet by chance when he arrives at her tattoo shop deciding whether he wants ink or not. Their meet is so fun and different and I absolutely loved their pet names! “Coffee” and “Kicks”. I thought they were perfect and would have loved for them to have been used more.
Ryder and Gracie fell pretty fast. A little of insta-love but they did spend a lot time without being physical. Their relationship was not typical at all. This is definitely a slow burn but the relationship is so good you’re ok with the spice delay. It’s also very low on the chili pepper rating but I promise the story is good!
Ryder faces some life changing decisions as well and has to weigh the life he could have versus life in this small town with a girl he can’t get away from. Gracie faces having to open up to her family and the man she falls for to gain the love of her life and the family she always dreamed of.

The book does deal with death of a spouse and touches on infertility.

I loved this story in the Star Falls series. I'm a sucker for a single dad romance and this one did not disappoint. Ryder and Gracie were just perfect for each other.

Grace has been trying to heal from the last year of her life. She had a short fling with a guy who ended up ghosting her and unfortunately leaving her with a souvenir. But life has a way of throwing you for a loop and she has taken a break from guys...because she always falls for the wrong one. But when a handsome stranger knew to Star Falls comes into her Tattoo Shop, she is immediately drawn to him. And she has to wonder if he just might be different from the rest.

Ryder is trying to start a new life in a new town. Away from the sad memories he left behind, he and his young children and just wanting to find a new normal. Being a widower, Ryder hasn't been looking for that forever kind of girl but when he meets Grace, something shifts in him.

I love the small town vibes with this story. And throw in Grace's family, really makes for a fun story. I loved how Grace was with Ryder's kids, she showed them attention without expecting attention from their father. I liked that they didn't just jump into a relationship. With Ryder's children being young, they really just got to know each other first and this is what Grace needed with how her last relationship went.

I can't wait to see whose book we get next. I am really enjoying these stories and I love this family.

5 Star Review Never Too Soon (Star Falls #2) by Chelle Bliss

eBook/Audio:

Having read and loved the first book I could not wait to be back in Sar Falls with the Bianchi family. This is only daughter Grace Bianchi and Ryder Cooper’s story, and it was a wonderful read.

I love this family as much as the Gallo family and believe me that is saying something. Grace is a talented artist, her tattoos are amazing. I fell hard for single dad and widower Ryder, he and his children have been through so much and it broke my heart.

Meeting Grace, she brings light back into Ryder’s life and that was heartwarming. Both have been hurt in the past but together they have a second chance at love and I was cheering them on.

The Bianchi family of course were in one another’s business and the love and welcoming they gave to Ryder and his children made me smile.

The narration by Dane Anderson and Angelina Rocca who are new to me was entertaining. Their voices are easy to listen to and brought the characters and story to life for me.

I loved everything about this book and cannot wait to read more in the series.

Who could resist a sweet, sexy single dad?

Ryder is a man afloat in a new life with a broken heart and two adorable little kids. A widower with a path he is unsure of.

Grace has a home, love of friends and family, and her own business. What she also has is a serious case of relationship burn and a fear of never having a family of her own.

These two meet in a most unusual way and the match is struck!

The story is filled with so much heart and some heat but you will get the heart melting feels Chelle Bliss is famous for.

So satisfying!

Sweet and swoony romance...

BOOK AND AUDIOBOOK REVIEW

Book 2 in her Star Falls series, this is my second Chelle Bliss romance read/listen, and I was excited to jump back in.

I love small town romance and the single parent trope done well, and Bliss has written a sweet and swoony romance that includes both.

Ryder Cooper is a widowed father of two very young children, newly relocated to Star Falls. He meets Grace Bianchi, artist and owner of her own tattoo shop.

Instantly attracted to each other, Grace and Ryder build on their initial attraction while navigating parenting woes, potential medical concerns, and past trauma regarding losses and relationships with former partners. Despite these challenges, Grace and Ryder get their much deserved happily ever after.

What I love about this book is the gritty and real depiction of single parenting, the plethora of laugh out loud moments, the support from family and friends, the real talk and clear communication between the MCs, and the devotion and commitment that Grace and Ryder showed to each other as they overcome the various hurdles on their way to their HEA.

This book is lower level spice, with only a few intimate scenes, but one particularly lengthy and spicy video call scene had me laughing out loud while fanning myself at the same time.

Listening to the audiobook was a special treat as two of my favorite voice actors, Angelina Rocca and Dane Anderson, did a wonderful job bringing Grace and Ryder to life. Of particular note is that this audiobook was dual narration, and both Rocca and Anderson voiced the opposite POV as well as the numerous secondary characters with impressive skill.

A very enjoyable read/listen, my only critique would be the need for content or trigger warnings regarding death of a spouse (off page, but a main theme), pregnancy loss (off page, but a main theme), and fertility struggles. The angst, however, is low, and the topics are treated with the sensitivity they deserve.

I am looking forward to Book 3, Vito Bianchi's story, coming soon this year.

A single dad and a second chance at love? Yes, please. From the very start, this story pulled at my heartstrings in all of the best of ways.

Ryder has been lost since his wife passed away. When he moves to the small town of Star Falls with his two young children for a chance at a new start, he's not looking for love. He also isn't expecting to meet the beautiful tattoo artist Grace Bianchi. Grace isn't looking for love either. She's convinced that all men are the same and she's done with them, but then she meets Ryder. Maybe he's different from all the others?

Grace and Ryder's story drew me in right from the very first page. The relationships in this book are everything, both Ryder's relationship with his children and Grace's relationship with her parents and brothers. There is a touch of drama, and for a moment, I was afraid that this story might be headed in a direction that I didn't want. I truly appreciated the storyline though and how it all played out. There were so many tender moments throughout this story that had me smiling, had me in tears, just gave me all the feels.

This is beautifully told story of heartbreak, hope, and finding love again. This is a feel good romance that I definitely recommend.

Ahhh Never Too Soon (Star Falls #2) is so sweet, touching and Chelle Bliss really pulled at my heartstrings with this book. I truly enjoyed this second chance at love romance. Ryder and Gracie were everything they needed in each other’s lives and this single daddy sure did know how to make my ovaries explode and make me swoon.

Ryder and his two adorable kids moved to Star Falls for a fresh start after his wife’s death. After having her heart destroyed by a man a year ago, Gracie wasn’t looking for a relationship or love but after meeting Ryder and getting to know his kids, all bets were off. I couldn’t get enough of them and of course, Gracie’s loud and nosey family were a hilarious riot and they made the storyline even better. I can’t wait to read the next book in this wonderful series.

As I’d expected, the author hit it out of the park again. Ryder and Gracie may be slow burn, but it doesn’t feel like it’s slow as the pages fly by! They had me invested from the first page and never let me down or made me wonder if they’d make it last. And the small town busybody vibe? Yeah, that really worked for me. Truly.

Above all, though, this author excels at communication between her characters. Even if it’s uncomfortable or embarrassing, Ryder and Gracie shared it all. They don’t have unnecessary drama. They even take the feelings of those who may still be mourning into consideration while actively including them in family events. The maturity in all of that keeps me coming back for more, and I’ll definitely look forward to coming back to this town!

Lucia Bianchi, the meddling matriarch of the Bianchi family was over the moon with joy when she came upon her only daughter, Gracie, having lunch with a handsome man and his two adorable children. Who was this newcomer to Star Falls and how was Gracie lucky enough to have crossed paths with him?

Chelle Bliss has once again given us a glimpse into the loveable Bianchi family as Gracie meets a hot, single dad who she doesn’t want to fall for, but unfortunately, she can’t resist him or his precious children, Luke and Cora. Ryder came to Star Falls with his family for a new start and his introduction to the small town was made even brighter when he met Gracie at her tattoo shop. He was mesmerized by her beauty, quick wit and the gentle nature she has shown for his children. Was it ridiculous to think that fate had brought them together or was he just hoping for the happy ending that had eluded him until now?

Gracie knew that her mother prayed every day that she would meet the perfect man but was Ryder really the one for her? He was extremely good-looking, confident, kind and came with a ready-made family. What woman could resist him? Gracie had a big decision to make but I knew that with the help of her family she would make the right one as long as she let her heart lead the way!

Well this book was adorable. It wasn't what I was expecting from this single dad romance but the story became something even bigger and better. With Ryder and Gracie, Chelle has created a heartfelt and emotional love story. Both leads come to the relationship with their own hurts but in each other they find healing and wholeness. Their relationship is founded on a deep non-physical connection filled with honesty and love. The romance is a slow burn. But this is done intentionally to give their heat time to build.

I am usually a bit of a slow burn critic. But i loved this love story and how these two communicated. I was so invested in the HEA and how I want to read happy endings for all the Bianchi siblings.

Soaking up the love!

Grace Bianchi is a tattoo artist in crisis when her shop floods but luckily Ryder Cooper has come to the shop to see if he wants a tattoo. Helping to close off the valves, Ryder finds himself intrigued by Grace. As a single father, Ryder puts his children first but Grace brings something else out in him. When his children take to Grace, their relationship alters. Ryder is nothing like Grace has met before and the ease with which they interact is something they both find special. When they open up about their pasts, can they find common ground or will the secrets make them pull apart from each other?
Chelle has written another book I couldn't put down, the Bianchi's are going to be the family that makes you laugh, cry and cheer!

Never Too Soon

I was excited to start reading this book because I have already fallen in love with this family. If you know the Gallo family, you know that trying to embrace a new family would be hard. But then Chelle made it near impossible for us not to fall in love with them with introducing us to the family in the first book. Book 2 is about Gracie, the only daughter in this family and the youngest. This book - oh my - I got to a point in the book where I just couldn’t put the book down, I couldn’t stop reading or crying!! I think I full on cried for the last half of the book! So many feels in this book! You simply must read Gracie and Ryders story! It will pull on your heartstrings from the very beginning!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I loved Ryder and Gracie’s story! Never Too Soon captured the cuteness of the chaos in single parenthood. This is a friends-to-lovers romance that follows the couple as Ryder has just moved to Star Falls to be the new high school football coach. Their meet-cute happens when Ryder finds himself curious about getting a tattoo and the tattoo shop where Gracie works at. From their first interaction, I knew I was going to love their dynamic! Their friendship was one of my favorite parts of this book because they are such opposites but it works in the most beautiful way. I’m used to romantic suspense from Chelle Bliss however, I loved this contemporary romance story from the beginning to the end.

I’m obsessed with Ryder he was so cute! I am a sucker for the strong thighs and rugby bod but he was just so open with Grace. I loved his relationship with his kids but also how he parents. There is nothing sexier than a good dad IMO, and Ryder is such a good dad! Not only that, he is an effective communicator and he was always willing to let Gracie know everything up front. The honesty and the way he listened to her, SWOON! His children Luke and Cora were adorable as well. I loved them both too.

Me and Gracie are the same! She’s covered in tattoos with a purse that’s bottomless and so am I. This woman has had the worst luck with men in the past and she doesn’t want to fall victim to that again. That judgment of women with tattoos that she feels the weight of is also one I’ve faced as well. She’s and artist with a big heart and the way she holds Ryder’s made me so happy for her. He gives her his heart because he can see who she really is and she keeps it safe for him. After the loss of his wife, I always expect there to be some partial love or the ex, but Ryder doesn’t give her parts, he gives her the whole thing. There is no doubt that Grace takes first place.

Both of these characters have assumptions that people make about them based on their looks, they show how none of that stuff matters, it’s what’s on the inside that counts. As they fight the doubts they have about their romantic relationship, their friendship flourishes as they open up more and more. For Gracie, this was a huge step. She had been hurt and was not willing to fall for this man, but how could she help it? See the previous paragraph!! Their relationship was built on more than just the attraction they have for each other; that chemistry was amazing!

I cannot forget to talk about how I loved the Bianchi family. Lucia, Gracie’s mom, is the MVP of this story. She has an eye for romance and I am here for her suggestions! Ryder, Luke and Cora are so lucky to be a part of this family now! I can’t wait for more match making!

I highly recommend this single-parent romance if you like friends to lovers romance and opposites attract! Never Too Soon is book two of the Star Falls series, though it can be read as a complete standalone. Thank you to the author for a copy of this book for review!

Never Too Soon by Chelle Bliss, is the second book of the Star Falls Series, in this story we meet Grace Bianchi, this woman is an artist, and she expresses her art in tattoos, she owns a tattoo shop, and although she seems to be something tough around the edges she is really very sweet and gives everything for those she loves, one day she meets a man who is completely her type, and although she is in a stage of her life where she is not looking for relationships, she cannot help but feel attracted to this handsome man. Ryder Cooper is a widower, father of two children, who finds himself wanting to start over, so he decided to move to Star Falls, for him the last few years have been hard, so he believes that this change is what he and his children need, only things are not so simple, when one day he meets a beautiful woman and he is completely intrigued and drawn by her and when the circumstances arise for them to get to know each other better, he will not miss it. It's obvious to him how wonderful Gracie is and it will do whats necessary to prove her that he is different from what she had known, only that they both have wounds from their past and must trust each other with their hearts to overcome those wounds and have a future together.
This is a beautiful story, with wonderful characters, I loved Gracie's family dynamics, Ryder is a wonderful guy, I ended up completely in love with him, he is not only sweet and chivalrous with Gracie but he is an excellent father, attentive and patient I really loved this story. Highly Recommended!

Just when I think I can't love another boisterous, loving Italian family from Chelle Bliss, she goes and gives us more of the wonderful Bianchi crew! This time around it's little sister Gracie's turn as she finds herself falling hard for the newest resident of Star Falls, one very sexy Ryder Cooper. These two meet quite unexpectedly as Ryder wanders into Gracie's tattoo parlor, The Body Shop, and finds himself helping her out when Gracie finds her shop flooded. Ryder is beyond sweet, getting on his hands and knees and turning off the source of the water almost immediately. They definitely have this instant kind of chemistry and I just knew it was just a matter of time before they'd want to become oh so much more.

What's fab about this storyline is that there is a sweet poignancy to both Gracie and Ryder's individual issues. Gracie's year-long secret has her worried about her possible future as a mother and Ryder is a widowed father of two who is just trying to keep his adorable kids happy. His move to the small-town of Star Falls wasn't easy but he's such a patient and truly good guy, I couldn't help but cheer for him being able to make this new place his forever home. Especially since his attraction to Gracie and attempts at dating her are fraught with distractions and mishaps. Which in the end, actually helps with both learning more about the other when they can't be physical and intimate in person. Although those late night Facetime chats definitely keep the sparks alive between them, adding fuel to the simmering blaze they've created. But what I loved most was that Ryder and Gracie's reactions to all that occurs both between them and to them in the few short months they know each other, felt real. They didn't ever hold back, which only made their desire for the other burn even brighter and they appreciated each other's candor even when it might be hard to hear. A mutual respect that just made me love them more.

The afore-mentioned Bianchi family is freaking adorable as they provide plenty of levity in times of crisis, while always giving Gracie the love and support she so desperately needed when she finally comes clean with what she has been dealing with in private for way too long. The affection this clan has for one another no matter what they might say or do is addictive and Ma and Pop Bianchi are most definitely the glue that holds this crazy family together. I'd like to think their example helps Gracie in her decision to love Ryder with all of her heart and realize the future she can have with this incredibly giving man and his equally great kids.

With final chapters that made me sigh and swoon like a fool, Never Too Soon is clearly one of Bliss' most endearing books to date. I fell hard for Gracie and Ryder and all the secondary characters who make Star Falls the beautiful place it is. Our couple have a love story that although wasn't always easy, was most definitely meant to be. Fate clearly had a say in getting these two together and I look forward to seeing how they are doing in the future when Chelle Bliss allows us to visit Star Falls once more.

Book 2 of Chelle Bliss's Star Falls Series is hands down one of the most heartwarming and angsty, steamy reads of this year for me!

Once again we're back in the world of Star Falls a small-town in Ohio were everyone knows everyone (just about). We're following Grace Bianchi and Ryder Cooper two people who have both loved and lost both in different ways. Two Souls that are just looking for their other half.

Ryder is new to Star falls, he and his two small children are looking to start a new life. They are looking for a do-over and what better place than a small quaint town to find that. Writer is a new part-time teacher and coach for the Town School. And he just wants to get his life back to a normal flow for him and for his two young children.
Grace Bianchi is a star falls lifelong resident. Small town tattoo shop owner, incredibly sassy and has her own heartbreak and loss that she is trying to overcome. She meets writer in the beginning when she realizes her tattoo shop is flooded along with her sister-in-law's bookstore next door. Ryder was just looking in the window because he was thinking about getting a tattoo. Her knight in shining armor he came in and helped her stop the water from getting any worse and there was an immediate kinship and you could tell Sparks are going to fly.
Grace and Ryder hit it off like no other. They were wrangled into a lunch date of sorts by one of the towns busy body matchmakers. When Grace saw Ryder at the bookstore next door one day and saw his two small children. There was introductions and then lunch. The children steal the show hands down are awesome Cora and Luke are show stealing characters. You can't help but fall in love with these kids just as much as you fall in love with Grace and Rider.
Never too soon builds you up emotionally. When you see both Grace and Ryder bare their souls to each other and tell each other they're most devastating heartache it grabs your heart. How they confide in each other and how they support one another emotionally and understand each other it had me in happy tears.

The Slow Burn angsty emotions that build throughout the entire book will have you grabbing for the tissues. Chelle Bliss has done a phenomenal job and intriguing us once again, and in capturing such a beautiful love story and putting it all at your fingertips.

5 glorious stars for Never Too Soon 💜🖤💜🖤

Grace & Ryder ... Heart melting

It was such a pleasure to be back in Star Falls with the Bianchi family. I loved the first book, Never Too Late, so I knew that NEVER TOO SOON was going to be another enjoyable and entertaining read. This time the focus is on the only daughter Grace, and new to town single dad Ryder Cooper.

Grace is a talented tattooist and artist. The last year has taken a toll on her emotions, so she's decided that she's better of being single because she always is attracted to the wrong guy. After a disastrous start to her day a gorgeous stranger walks into her tattoo shop and helps her out. Ryder is a single dad and new in town. He's hoping that moving to Star Falls will be the beginning of a new life and a new normal for himself and his two young children, Luke and Cora. OMG those children are adorable. When Ryder walks into the tattoo shop, he has no idea his life is about to change.

The attraction, chemistry, and draw between Grace and Ryder were undeniable from the beginning. She held him spellbound with her personality and beauty, while she was unable to forget the confident and helpful stranger. Would they be able to put their pasts behind them and once again open their hearts? I adored them together, their banter, honesty, trust, open communication, but most of all the ease they felt with each other. Grace was amazing with Ryder's children, her patience with them was beautiful, she just accepted them into her arms. I loved that there was no major drama between Grace and Ryder, their relationship just evolved at a slow, natural pace, allowing for plenty of sexual tension between them.

Once again Chelle Bliss captivated me with her words. Her slow burn romance had my heart melting, some tears flowing, and a lot of laughing out loud. I loved watching the town's matchmakers at work - those women are hilarious and not very subtle. NEVER TOO SOON was a beautiful story about acceptance, understanding, family, and love.

Next up is Never Too Close, Vito Bianchi's story, and I can't wait.

Never Too Soon
Star Falls, Book 2
By: Chelle Bliss
Narrated by: Dane Anderson, Angelina Rocca

Chelle Bliss pens another fabulous novel set in her “Star Falls” series, a small town single dad romance that captivates your attention and tugs at your heartstrings the entire book. And you got to love the Bianchi family, a tight-knit family who is super protective of their only daughter, Gracie, an artist and tattooist. She was dealing with a flooding issue in her shop when a walk-in arrives, and he offers to check the problem and she offers him coffee. Ryder Cooper, a single dad of two young children, moved to Star Falls for a new start, leaving his past dramas behind. He was not looking to get involved with anyone, but was not expecting to meet someone he was interested in right away. Gracie is dealing with some of her own personal drama and heartache, so she is hesitant about spending time with Ryder, but she found herself unable to refuse him. It was great to watch these two get to know each other and how comfortable they were with each other and how well Grace got along with his two kids. As with all of Chelle Bliss’ books, the writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. The story has the perfect balance of drama, heartfelt emotions and a slow burn, but so worth the wait romance. Thank you for another fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧Dane Anderson and Angelina Rocca did a fabulous job bringing the characters to life, giving them their voices and humanizing them with their own personality while delivering a perfect portrayal of each. I loved how they took each role and made their own, sounding believable and just as I imagined the characters to sound. Their pacing and tone were fantastic and the quality of their audio was top-notch. These two made a great team, their voices and talent complement each other and their performance elevated the already amazing story to another level. These two are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.  Thanks for another wonderful listen.

Never Too Soon is the second book in the Star Falls series by Chelle Bliss, featuring a riveting single dad romance for Grace Bianchi and Ryder Cooper. Ryder and his two young children move to Star Falls for a fresh start after the death of their mother. He meets a beautiful tattoo artist in the middle of a crisis who makes him want things he hadn’t even thought about for a long time. Grace doesn’t have the best track record with men, but the helpful stranger intrigues her like no other. They both have a lot of healing to do. Can they do it together, and find lasting love in the process?

This family is sucking me in just as quickly and fully as the Gallos did! The emotions involved in both Ryder and Grace’s backstories felt so real, and really affected me. And there is nothing that will have me swooning faster than a loving single dad with a couple of cute kids!😍 The relationship between Grace and Ryder was a home run from start to finish… It felt more realistic in the amount of time they took to get to know each other before they went fully physical, given the presence of his kids. When they were finally able to unleash their passion, it was super steamy!!🔥🔥 Just like in the first book, the Bianchi family play a prominent roll in the book, bringing laughs with their witty banter, antics, and meddling. Both Ryder and Grace have past hurts that they are healing from, and the unwavering support of the Bianchi family is just what they and the kids need. This amazing book was over way too fast, and I can’t to return to Star Falls for more Bianchi family fun!

I received an advanced review copy for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just when I think Chelle Bliss already has me hooked, she writes another amazing story. Never Too Soon is the second installment in the Star Falls series, and what a lovely story it is! A single dad, with two adorable kiddos, meets a jaded tattoo artist…what could be more perfect?

Ryder and his two children; Luke and Cora arrive in the small town of Star Falls hoping for a new start after the loss of his wife, but what they weren’t expecting was Grace. Ryder is taken with her from the first moment he sees her, her kind eyes and how naturally maternal she is with his children. He wasn’t looking for love again, but just maybe love was looking for him. Grace on the other hand doesn’t have much faith left in men, every relationship she has ever had has crashed and burned. This has left her somewhat jaded. When Ryder and his children arrive at Star Falls, the chemistry she feels with not only Ryder but the children as well, surprises her, they are everything she wants, but can it really be that easy?

I loved that this was a slow burn romance, it really gave the characters time to develop. Gracie’s relationship with Luke and Cora was so sweet, you could tell just how much she cared about them, even when things were dramatic. Ryder and Gracie were funny at times, and I think that helped with the craziness when they first “try” to date, it was one oops after another with them. It is rare to find a book that bases more on the emotional side of a relationship than a physical one when it comes to romance, not that Ryder and Gracie didn’t have their spicy moments.

I look forward to seeing what else Star Falls has in store for us next.

Comfort reads every time

Another enjoyable read by this author. I feel like her books are like Hallmark movies- comfort reads, the kind that make you feel like swaddling up with blankets and a good drink and just enjoying the time. There’s low angst, no unnecessary drama, a big loving sometimes over-involved family, and a couple that is sometimes thrust together unexpectedly and trying to fighter things out.

This is Gracie and Ryder’s story. Both have some baggage from their pasts, yet they manage to share and deal with it like adults and not let it prevent them from moving on. He’s a widower single dad moving to their small town for a fresh start and she’s the single tattoo artist he meets randomly while exploring town and debating getting a tattoo. It’s insta-attraction, but they don’t jump into bed right away. In fact, they spend three months getting to know each other and spending time together before they move on to anything physical.

“Slow and steady. That's how this relationship has been. No flare, no wildfire. But the strongest things are forged over time.”

Honestly, I loved that for them. I’m typically very ok with the more smut themed stories as well, but I loved that these two really got to connect on that deeper level first. They’ve both been burned, and they both deserved and wanted that forever partner. It didn’t feel dragged out, and it wasn’t even really a decision to wait, just life and his role as a parent sort of controlled things. It was delicious and perfect for them. This was definitely more of a feel-good romance story, and I always know when I read this author I’m going to be happy with it.

Never Too Soon is the first novel I have read from Chelle Bliss and it will certainly not be my last! Bliss’ writing is conversational, open, accessible, well paced, and beautifully eloquent. I was swiftly swept up into this small town, single father romance. The characters are well balanced and charming. Bliss perfectly paced the growing relationship with charming interactions that make the relationship between the hero and heroine sweet and endearing. Bliss also balances the children and how they effect the growth of the relationship with and understanding that the love is not just between the hero and heroine but about growing a family.

This is the second novel in Bliss’ Star Fall series and it can absolutely be read as a stand-alone, it has also made me super excited to go back and read the first novel and explore Bliss’ back list. This novel explores the growth of a relationship that comes with a ready made family. It explores opening your heart not just to romance but to the love and care of two young and impressionable children. I love the slow build that this relationship takes, I love that they are both extremely attracted to the other but they know that they must take some things slow. I love that we see them date with kids in tow and we see how the heroine opens her heart and mind to how important she must see all of these new and budding relationships. This novel also does a wonderful job of showing two people who understand each other, support each other and always make sure they are on the same page.

This novel is sweetly sensual, with a steady build of chemistry and tension. Watching a new family grow and take root was really charming and Chelle Bliss beautifully executes it with grace and care. If you are in the mood for a single father romance with an artistic tattoo artist, then look no further than this small town romance!

Thank you so much to Valentine PR for an eARC, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Grace is struggling to clean up the mess when a mysterious hot stranger comes into the shop and fixes the leak saving her from complete disaster. It is Never Too Soon to re-read a Chelle Bliss book. I didn't even bother closing Never Too Soon. I just went right back to the beginning so I could swoon all over again. I really wanted, no needed, some more Ryder.

He has become my new favorite book boyfriend. There is so much to love about the man. He is a single dad to a five and a three year old after his wife died unexpectedly. He is ready for a fresh start, taking a job as a high school coach in the small town of Star Falls. The author had me drooling over this coach's body. So delicious. Get ready to fume and shed tears when you hear his back story. Thank goodness the giddiness soon began for me.

A new town needs to be explored. A new town needs to be tested. A new town is a lot of new beginnings. What Ryder didn't expect was to meet Gracie Bianchi, tattoo artist. Get ready for a romance with lots of chemistry, lots of drama and a compassion that seems to be missing in a lot of books lately.

Never Too Soon is a wonderful slow build, bringing a realness to the story. Ryder is smart enough to put his kids first. Gracie is smart enough to not rush in. She is a class act, not rushing to be the new mom. Never Too Soon is all about family and they become the perfect family.

For me there is nothing better than closing a book and wanting to sit in the quiet and remember the story. I sat for hours remembering the love that grew in Never Too soon.

This is book 2 in the Star Falls series and while it could be read as a standalone, I would read book 1 before reading this book. Grace Bianchi has always been drawn to men who are allergic to relationships. But when a mysterious man walks into her shop, saving her from a disaster, she finds herself wondering… is he different than the others? Ryder Cooper is fumbling his way through life. He’s been lost since his wife passed away, leaving him to raise two young children alone. But when he meets a beautiful tattoo artist with a zest for life, she makes him wonder…could he love again?

So let me say that this story is a slow burn, which I wasn't expecting from this author! But it fit this story perfectly in ways that I was surprised I truly liked. Ryder is a single dad trying to do what he feels is best for his kids. Grace is a tattoo artist who is trying to deal (or ignore) some past trauma when she meets Ryder. And they fall like a ton bricks for each other. Not only does she treat his kids like they are her own, she doesn't act like they are in the way or a nuisance. Now don't get me wrong, she is sassy but she is sassy with a side of sweet that I loved! I loved how their story played out, even if at times I miss the spiciness I am used to with this author. And then you throw in her family, and it made me remember why I liked the first story so much! Can't wait for the next one to see where it takes us next!
