The style of this book is more of the coffee table variety (one large picture of an artwork for each featured artist with a short bio and description of the piece below). That being said, the number of artists featured is vast, with a good representation of gender as well. I liked the format of the artists listed alphabetically, nice change of pace from chronological.

This was a beautiful book that had 300 different Latin American artists. Each entry has a description of the artist life along with some information about the work that is shown. Some of the pieces resonated more with me but overall, this is a beautiful book and very well done.

Beautiful, vividly colored, and physically heavy book suitable for a coffee table. A joy to read and to look at photos of the artwork. Arranged alphabetically by artist name.
