i LOVE aaron judge!

i can wholeheartedly say that this was definitely the best $6.99 that i have ever spent on anything in my entire life! i am so lucky to have been able to buy the last copy of this book at my local bookstore, i don't know where i would be without it~

for starters, the book has such beautiful illustrations that nearly bring a tear to my eye. the artist, andrew thompson, is so talented and his drawings of aaron judge should be put in a fine art museum. the full page drawing on pages 18-19 is so impressive and i admire the dedication mr. thompson must have put into making that work of art.

also, there is so much useful and relevant information in here! before reading this book, i would consider myself quite the expert on aaron judge, but just in the first few pages, i already learned so many new things! for instance, did you know that after aaron judge learned he was adopted, the first thing he went and did was go outside and play? i didnt either! how interesting!

i also love how the book included a full works cited at the end, so whenever i'd like, i can read more about aaron judge and his amazing presence on this planet! in fact, once im done writing this review, i think im going to go and check out one of the three articles titled "Aaron Judge." How convenient! :)

at this point, i truly believed that the only thing that could make this book even more of a literary masterpiece was the inclusion of my OTHER favorite baseball player, mickey mantle. so imagine how i felt when i saw the headline "maris vs mantle" on page 40 and an ENTIRE illustration of him on page 41?! i was so so excited to see that my second favorite baseball player was able to make a cameo into this wonderful book. that's when i knew "who is aaron judge?" was for sure good enough to make my coveted favorites shelf <3

the only complaint i have is that this book is too dang short!! im so sad that this book was barely 50 pages long :( i personally think it could have used another 400 pages or so? but overall, an amazing read and i will definitely be reading this treasure of a book again!

bottom line: there's so much that i want to say about this lovely book, but to sum it up, for fans and non-fans of aaron judge alike (in which case, who do you think you are?) this is a must read!

My son was excited to see this new edition to the series since it’s his favorite baseball player. We read this together recently after visiting Tampa, FL and seeing the Yankees at their Spring Training. It was a quick but informative read. We learned a few new things about Judge and the team. Love this series of books!

I really like this series (WHO IS...) of biographies for young readers. They are concise narratives and factually accurate. This particular biography is too short for my interest level. There were too many gaps in Aaron's rise to the major leagues and his career seems a bit short to devote a notable highlight review.

It's always really interesting what events they highlight at the end during the world time line.

Aaron Judge is a very talented man, I hardly even know him, but when I saw this book at the library, my eyes grew big, I almost started saying must have book, and I never knew he was this talented,
