Tulsa Art Deco

Rate this book
Tulsa, Oklahoma, Oil Capital of the World, came into its mineral inheritance in its youth, just as Art Deco came onto the scene, and the style and the city evolved together for nearly half a century. This book traces the current of Art Deco that flows through the city's built history. The present collaborates with the past in this volume. No lover of Tulsa, Art Deco, or of architecture will want to be without it.

I was born and raised and still reside in Tulsa Oklahoma. I have always loved the Deco architecture and construction all over Tulsa. So when I found this book I had to buy it. This high quality book is full of beautiful pictures of current structures and ones that were sadly torn down. In addition to the many photos there are detailed and well written stories telling you about the deco buildings offices and homes in Tulsa.

If you love Tulsa, Deco art and construction and or beautiful pictures and stories then this book is for you. I will refer to this book often and it now lives in my coffee table so visitors can enjoy it too! 💕
