David Icke is a writer and public speaker. He has toured all over world giving presentations and has written over 10 books sharing his research and views regarding the current state of society and global events. Former BBC television sports presenter and British Green Party spokesman.
An essential companion to the times we live in. The parts I enjoyed most were the first and last chapters, as they focus more on the nature of reality rather than the conspiracy. Read with an open mind and take from it what feels right for you.
David Icke, although very controversial, has some amazing research in this book over a large variety of political and scientific topics. He expounds also, quite masterfully, upon an optimistic sociology. This book really gets the reader thinking, and the effect never stops. Even if the reader comes away from the book thinking "this man is a nutter," she will never look at the world in the same way -- which is a very good thing.
This is an informative summary of the main conspiracy theories (as of 2007). It is also an unconvincing argument that the world is dominated by Alien Reptilians.
The book starts with a metaphysical vision that reality is an illusion. All that exists is vibrational energy. Our bodies are therefore illusions, but they are also somehow ‘real’ enough to imprison us.
Ideas like this are interesting (albeit confusing), but they are not supported by evidence. The book cites Masauro Emoto and the ‘Hundredth Monkey Effect’ as evidence (Kindle 8%). But neither can be replicated in scientific conditions. This means that they are pseudo-science: not evidence.
Dr Sam Chang of the Human Genome Project is cited as evidence (11%). But Dr Sam Chang does not exist. He is an urban myth. The Emerald Tablets are cited as a 30,000 year old record of the Alien Reptilian overlords (15%). But no one has ever seen these tablets and their 1939 “translator” seems to be a fiction writer using a pen name. Cathy O’Brien’s experiences are cited to prove that mind control occurs (71%). Yet her claims (about Satanic abuse) have been investigated and found to be either inconsistent or lacking in corroborative evidence.
The book does cite genuine historical puzzles, such as the 1000 ton stones which ancient peoples seem to have moved at Baalbek (10%). Proposing that they were moved by Alien Reptilians is an interesting idea, but the book does not provide evidence to support such an idea.
The book ranges broadly in its discovery of conspiracies. Apparently the American War of Independence was faked by British spies (20%). The City of London is allegedly independent of the UK (34%). And there is no legal basis in the US for income taxes (34%). Americans will (sadly) find that this is not an opinion shared by the US Supreme Court.
As well as missing evidence and bizarre claims, the core arguments of the book do not make sense. On the one hand the Reptilian overlords are causing the ‘War on Terror’ (17%) so that they can control the oil in the Middle East (37%). But the Reptiles are also behind Global Warming (79%) which is decarbonising the world to make oil irrelevant. We also heard that the Reptilian empire was centred on Mesopotamia (Iraq) in pre-history, yet they are fighting modern wars to get control of... Iraq.
The book is essentially trying to present a hypothesis that Alien Reptilians are the best answer to explain the wide range of “issues” cited in the book. But there are plenty of other equally “unusual” solutions that could be cited. For example, Descartes Demon could be responsible for mischievously planting evidence to get people to abandon traditional religions and believe in Alien Reptiles, instead. A single mischievous demon is a much simpler hypothesis than a gang of Alien Reptiles, so it is arguably a more probable hypothesis than the one presented by the book.
Ultimately, the book does not provide reason to accept the author’s claims. Perhaps part of the reason for this is that the author seems to believe that using reason gets in the way of true enlightenment, which is caused by our intuitions (82%). When the reason for believing in Alien Reptiles is because intuition makes it “feel” right, then the book is no longer making an evidenced and rational case.
Unfortunately this non-rational methodology keeps recurring in the book. For example, the author explains that when he first heard about 9/11 his intuition immediately told him that it was fake (40%). He then set out to research evidence which has confirmed that his intuition was right. That is the methodology of Confirmation Bias. It is a fallacious way of reasoning.
Perhaps the strongest argument against the author’s claims is the very existence of the book. If the Alien Reptiles control governments and are so powerful that they can cause the assassinations of people like JFK and Princess Diana (35%), then they could easily cause the assassination of the author. If the author’s claims are correct, so that he is revealing the Reptiles’ secrets and getting people to resist them, then surely the Reptiles would have assassinating him too?
The fact that the author lives, and is able to produce books like this suggests that either his claims are wrong, because there are no Reptiles which could assassinate him. Or his claims about the Reptiles are so wrong that the Reptiles see no need to assassinate him.
This means that either the book is wrong, or its wrong.
I suggest this as a 'must read' for anyone who wants to get a picture of what's really going on 'behind the scenes' on the big world stage - the people in charge of 'running the world', who they are, what they're doing and how they're interconnected at the global level.
Leaving aside the 'esoteric' parts and aspects - of which you can make what you will - read the historical and current documentation in the book.
The quote from John Lennon on the front cover sets the tone very well.
At the a risk of seeming gullible, I think most of the information in this book is truth or near truth. I can't help but think that there is more than human greed(evil) that has created our world's situation. I am an extremely amateur researcher on the topics in this book, however, I'm finding a lot of similar info elsewhere.
Very well researched. An interesting and thought provoking book into what is really going on behind the facade called "life" and why things are the mess it is and out of our control. Like his other books not for the feinthearted and no doubt scoffed at by the majority. But the truth is always stranger than fiction and most people prefer not to know the truth.
I have to hand it to David Icke. He single handedly keeps the flames of antisemitism burning, with his willful ignorance. It is no surprise that he is British. While the English and Scots didn’t invent antisemitism, they’ve been promoting it for centuries. As far as Icke, he is beyond clueless when it comes to any knowledge or understanding of Kabbalah. That David Icke has always promoted his belief that it’s about eating babies, the devil and pedophilia leads me to doubt he has the intelligence necessary to seriously study it. Icke is incapable of grasping the difficult material offered in the Kabbalah. If he could, he’d realize that, to sum it up, it’s about a pure heart (intent, act & will). I also strongly doubt David Icke is fluent in reading and writing Hebrew, at the heart of Kabbalah. Like all hateful people, their ignorance and limited capacity becomes obvious the minute they open their mouth. I don’t believe in censorship but no one should publish the babbling of this amateur sleuth. Anything he writes is not worth the time to read it.
Mr Icke claims to be uncovering a global conspiracy, that we have all been deceived, and so I would expect him to be less-than-complementary about the people he identifies as the conspirators/deceivers. That doesn't mean he needs to be downright rude: the mildest example is Father George Bush & Boy George Bush rather than George HW Bush & George W Bush. Deeply unprofessional. Someone appears to have forgotten to run the text through a grammar-checker when proofreading: every chapter, either in the main text or in the picture captions, has either a word missing or an incorrect word e.g. reek rather than wreak. Many of the pictures/diagrams used are reproduced in less-than-great quality so are difficult to decipher. Finally, maybe just because he's trying to tie everything into one giant conspiracy, there is some repetition between various chapters. So not a great read even before you get on to the actual subject matter.
Mr Icke's basic premise is that the world we think exists is an illusion like "The Matrix", that we are all plugged into a computer network controlled by extra-terrestrial "Reptilians". We are not individuals but a hive mind. These Reptilians mated with humans to produce hybrids (the Nephilim/Nefilim), dating back to Atlantis & Mu/Lemuria, dispersed globally after the Great Flood. This Reptilian hybrid bloodline forms the global elite, reporting back to extraterrestrial Reptilians, working together over centuries to bring about a global unity of law, finance, religion, etc. Basically a combination of George Orwell's "1984" & Aldous Huxley's "Brave New World". This is done via:
Secret societies & political parties: Freemasonry; Knights Templar; Knights of Malta; Knights of Columbus; the Skull & Bones society; the Nazis International groups: the UN; NATO; the WTO; World Bank; IMF; the Bildeburg Group; the Club of Rome; the Trilateral Commission; the Council on Foreign Relations; the Round Table network Government organisations & international intelligence: MI5/MI6; the CIA; the FBI; the DEA; Mossad Trade: the EU; NAFTA, GATT Multinational corporations ultimately all controlled by the same people Education: the hybrids all go to exclusive public/prep schools then Oxbridge or the Ivy League War: on terror, drugs or whatever - manufactured/instigated as a pretext for taking away ever more freedoms
The Bushes & Clintons feature prominently as do the Windsors (British Royal family) when Mr Icke is discussing Reptilian hybrid bloodlines. He also claims the way the Reptilian hybrids keep their outward human appearance is via ritual sacrifice and cannibalism/blood-drinking. Oh, and they're all Satanists. How has Mr Icke not been sued multiple times for libel?
The rest of humanity is kept unquestioning via:
Big Pharma: vaccines - targeted genocide Corporations: Monsanto et al - reinforce food inequality Media: celebrity culture; "journalism" that quotes the Reptilian party line; the Harry Potter novels & films Technology: phone masts; TV; mobile phones; electricity pylons - electromagnetic interference so we keep thinking this world is real & don't realise we are all one consciousness Religion: doesn't matter which one, they are all the ancient Babylonian worship or Nimrod, Ishtar & Tammuz in different guises Education: standardised testing designed to weed out anyone capable of independent thought so they can be monitored even more closely
The book is also a grab-bag of various other theories:
9/11 Assassinations such as the Kennedys, Marilyn Monroe & Princess Diana 2012 & the Mayan calendar Alchemy There is no such thing as a Jewish race, only the faith - those identified as Jews have no genetic tie to the land now known as Israel Symbolism in London, New York & Paris amongst others - Babylonian mostly; street plans, architecture & monuments
Whilst I can agree that there is a global elite & they network via Oxbridge etc.; that Big Pharma may well be out just to make money, etc. - saying we're being controlled via extraterrestrials is a bit much frankly. And that they've managed to keep the conspiracy going for thousands of years! Definite thumbs-down, not just the subject matter but the points in my first paragraph.
The David Icke’s Guide to the Global Conspiracy( and how to stop it) by David Icke .This book encompasses everything from the “origins of man,” to the present, in multiple settings across multiple universes.
This book lacks a structured plot. It follows the tale of many events and people through time, and follows how said occurrences link together. A major overarching character, or groups of characters are the Reptilian Hybrids. These beings shape man into who he is today, and the book retells how many events relate to their interactions with man throughout history, and sometimes even pre-history.
This piece of literature is hard to define. It has the overall feel of an encyclopedia, with the flow of a dramatic novel, whilst switching tracks every chapter. If you are interested in detective pieces, pieces on conspiracy theories, or fancy a classic Merriam-Webster dictionary on a Friday night, this is most certainly the book for you. I will personally take it a step further and recommend this book to all people who surpass the age of 15. This restriction is based upon how it is not a book to be picked up and put down spontaneously. This book requires patience, perseverance, and a open mind. Even with the consistent style and tone throughout the work, the ideas are at times unorganized. You can go from reading about how we are all intertwined like the vast systems of computers around us, to mind control antennae. However, when read in large sittings, the ideas intertwine to form a web of information that ensnares the reader, restricting their ability to stop reading. I enjoyed this book because it was intriguing to see how many symbols of American democracy and liberty have connections to objects worlds, sometimes planets apart. This book is great for any personal shelf or list because it offers different perspectives on day to day life, along with the events of the past.I also found it to be a great conversation piece with friends and family. In the words of the great character Atticus Finch, “You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view--until you climb into his skin and walk around in it.” Without reading the works of conspiracy theorists, you truly do not understand their point of view. This literary work might not change your view, but it will change the angle.
I ve read this book in my teens 4 or 5 times. The first book I ve read about conspiracies. Some parts of it are actually very interesting, and others are not supported by evidence especially on constant accusations of Icke to a "satanic pedophile" elite. He cant prove they are satanic neither can he prove they perform any kind of bloodthirsty rituals.
The "reptilians" part is better explained but still lacks some solid evidence. Some other authors are way better and have a way more scientific approach in this discussion of aliens, like Mauro Biglino or Pietro Buffa, for instance.
In terms of elite economic and political ties i think he describes their web of interests very well but fails to conclude. His conclusion derives from an anti semitic point of view, which is not only discriminatory but probably too simplistic. Nonetheless his descriptions of Israel attrocities against palestinians are accurate.
Finally, he focus too much on Illuminati. Illuminati are not what people think it is, but this is a common error of people from this conspiracy circles. They get distracted by this Illuminati thing and miss the point. I give it 4 stars because is one of the books of my life and because it helped me to look at the world with a broader and more opened mind, even though I would say the book in itself is only 40 percent accurate.
PS: i love the spiritual description Icke makes of human existence. One more reason for the 4 stars.
A dense tome, it comes in at around 600 pages. I have read some of Ike’s work before, but this was the most detailed and information rich of his works.
What is this one about? As you might expect, it plots the entire nature of David Ike’s global conspiracy. In essence, as outlandish as this may sound, it centers on reptilian entities from another dimension who utilize the holographic nature of reality to prey on the human race and keep them enslaved. Towards this end, they enlist certain bloodlines who are the so-called “reptilian hybrids”. These people have the DNA to appear as both reptilian or human. This, along with other writings, is what led to David Ike being labeled a madman, and generally ostracised, even by the modern conspiracy movement.
I would consider myself a skeptical person, a student of science, and a logical thinker. This book made me think. Say what you will about David Ike, his books are well written. He has a distinctive down to earth manner, full of little British colloquialisms and a powerful humor that shines through. Despite the dark subject matter, I would not call this a negative book, it shines with positivity.
Now, it took me a long time to get through this, because I often stopped to research. This is really the course of the book, after the conspiracy it introduced, Icke hammers down with relentless names, information, book quotations, pop-culture, and personal anecdotes. He pulls a bewildering amount of information from endless sources. As I tried to keep up with all of this and do a little cross-checking, I realised the absurd amount of information David Icke is really working with here. Again, whatever your opinion, you simply have to give this man credit for the prolific amount of words he is able to put to paper, and his ability to sort through mountains of resources.
As I researched, I found that some of it was a little misconstrued, some of this information downright wrong at times. I was not surprised by this, these are not all diamonds, he certainly makes some errors in judgement. However, I was far more shocked by the amount of information that was true, or that led to even deeper rabbit holes. Like Alice tumbling down, it seems like you are going to go down the rabbit hole forever, maybe never hit bottom. In many of these cases, David Icke is on to something.
This book came out in 2007, many of the situations he discusses are now well known. A large portion of some chapters concerns a 9/11 conspiracy, which is still debated in 2024. The power of the intelligence agencies has only become more of a threat as time passes.
The most powerful point Icke makes in this work is that you should not be afraid to question. Stand up to authority, and you do not just have to play along to the piper's call of society. I have endless respect for the man for that. In my own experience in the military, I found out first hand the horrors that come when people put on a uniform and lose track of themselves, becoming someone else as they are absorbed by the power of the organization. If I didn’t have an inner core to stand up for, I too would have fallen and lost my soul. David Icke is so correct when he says that your own inner voice is the most important thing.
My main question that still remains after finishing the book (and there are many) is this: Reptilians? Really?
Everything else in the book honestly seems quite cogent. I would say there are few conspiracies here that are not worth looking at. The Clinton body count, 9-11, child abuse rings, intelligence agency corruption, the deep state in government, the globalists, the secret elites, etc. According to Icke, underneath all of this lies reptilian shape shifting beings? And this isn’t a metaphor, it is a true fact according to him.
Part of me wants to think this is a genius move on his part, he puts something so outlandish here, that it allows his books to continue being published. If it was not for the reptilian angle, I find it hard to believe he would not be put in prison. Now he just gets away with being called a “crazy person”. It seems to me though, that he genuinely believes this. It’s certainly a mind-bending work, not for the faint of heart.
I know one thing, ever since I was a small child I have known something is wrong with this world, that something just isn’t right. I also don’t believe David Icke has all the answers, but he is on the right track, and his style of thinking is powerful, his questioning nature. I also respect his philosophy of non-violence. He makes it very clear near the end of the book that he is not calling for more violence, though he is calling for change. The change cannot come from continuing in the bog standard, or ignoring your intuition, the change has to come from within yourself. I also believe this, and have had many experiences that show this to be true.
Finally, many others will be put off by his treatment of organized religion. While not atheistic by any sense of the word, he has strong statements for Christians, Jews and Muslims alike. Those who adhere to the dogma of religion will find David Icke’s a tough philosophy. However, he is correct again. Truly, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself. I don’t know how Icke came upon the information in this overwhelming book, but he certainly understands the spiritual nature of this reality. I have had many experiences that confirmed this again and again, there is no such thing as the individual, the ego is simply an illusion.
Say what you will about him, but it’s not so simple as dismissing him as crazy, as comforting as that may be. The truth, it seems, is so much stranger.
This is a truly amazing journey David takes you on.From the first page i was hooked it's scary to think what and who is controlling world events, and to what ends but it is all explained in this book.Ickes research is astounding and the man knows what he is talking about, i just can't wait to read his other books and that i will do.If you need guidance and awakening look no further than David Icke he is a legend
while I don't take to heart everything Mr. Icke had to say. He does pose some very interesting ideas and questions. while I am firm in my faith, it is best to have an open mind about what is being presented. overall a very good read. at times it does get a little confusing and becomes hard to keep track of the info.
I enjoyed reading a lot of David Icke's books. And to be honest, most of what he wrote almost 20 years ago, have either happened already. Or is happening right now. Some may not agree. But that's all due to total ignorance. And that is why people these days are still "skeptical" even to this day, what he had to say then.
I read it while eating chicken tenders. The best part were the chicken tenders. Chicken tenders are real -- reptilian politicians and alien-possessed royalty may or may not be.

This is it, this is the book that changed my life. I can still remember ordering this book around ten years ago. I had always gravitated towards this sort of information throughout my life, although it wasn't until coming across a YT video (back when YT was far more free) that mentioned David Icke. I ordered this book, as this was his most recent at the time. The rest, as they say, is history. Since having my eyes well and truly opened, and my head blown apart by this book, I can't thank David enough for all the work he has put in to exposing what is going on in this world, and ultimately what is behind it. Its now more prescient than ever, given the current monumental hoax being forced upon humanity. Whilst I would ultimately recommend The Perception Deception as the go to book if you are new to this sort of information, then The Guide to the Global Conspiracy and How to End it remains not only a very dear piece of alternative history for me personally, but an invaluable tool against the fascist forces working against humanity. Required reading for the free of mind and spirit. 5/5
That is one of the best books that the author produced, it is an excellent compilation of his thoughts and themes made in the most coherent form yet. Some interesting points, he was right on some points and wrong on others. Still blaming whites and Jews, especially demonizing Jews for being Jews, and so on, all the problems of the world. He does a good job analyzing the European Union and the NWO, some of the PC attitudes have been recorded for a long time now. Still, the same shortcomings, nothing about sharia, about Islamic behavior, how they treat minorities, and how the West is evil, so I presume the author will move to one of the nice third-world countries, or to an Islamic country right? Well he should, they are so good and perfect, and if they are not is pretty much the fault of the reptilians. Oh no, he complains about the Western world, but he will keep upset with the democracies that allow him to do his thing, try to do it somewhere else Mr. Hypocrite, try to complain about the Quran in an Islamic country, and see what is coming to you.
I only read the book once. It was an interesting, if disturbing, read. The author cites mysteries and conspiracies throughout time and ties them together into one inclusive global conspiracy. Although his review of each mystery/conspiracy theory is fascinating, Icke's explanation of a global conspiracy perpetrated throughout time by alien reptiles interbred with humans is just too outlandish and disturbing to be believable. Having said all this, I must say that I do find the unexplained interesting, so I did enjoy the review of so much we do not understand.
