"This is an exciting book. Its plea that genetic theory be integrated into social thought-rather than the other way around-is wonderfully lucid and well informed. A pleasure to read." --Vivian Gornick, author of The End of the Novel of Love
For a woman who is a science writer, she certainly has an antagonistic and hostile view of science. I don't think she really understands or is capable of transmitting scientific information. I did not find her anecdotal descriptions and conclusions drawn from her own family life, as a Jew and a mother of a biracial child appropriate or informative. She should keep to the facts and statistical information or just write an autobiography.
