Volodya (31) mistook Maddie (21) for someone else and kidnapped her. When he found out she wasn't the person he was looking for, he didn't let her go and instead hired her to be his maid. I don't even know what's the focus of this story—finding the guy who supplies drugs or the everyday lives of the MCs? probably both.
I didn't like the story because of the hot and cold treatment of Volodya towards Maddie. She did the chasing for the first 50% of the book, and he kept rejecting her attempts, which made her look pathetic to me. This was also insta-lust or insta-love; not that I have any problems with that, but in this story it was very unbelievable. They were dropping love bombs after two days of knowing each other. How is that even possible? Then again, this is fiction. For the life of me, I couldn't buy that they love one another, because this story is very lust-filled.
Then, when they did the deed (around 51%, I think) they kept going at it like bunnies afterwards. The first half was the chasing game (mainly thanks to Maddie), and the second half was straight up fuckfest. The cheesy lines were swoony but also cringey. I'm not sure how to explain it hahaha. The moment they said I love you, they kept saying it every succeeding chapter. I don't know that it's possible to gag from so many love bombs, but that can be a me case.
Then Volodya and his brothers killed the guy selling drugs on their turf, and Maddie was attacked by her cheating ex-boyfriend. He physically assaulted her and tried to sexually assault her too, but Volodya came right on time and killed the guy.
Then a few weeks passed and everything settled down for them; he proposed, and they found out she's pregnant. Then they got married, and the epilogue is 1 year later.

Los libros de Sonja tienen de los romances mas fugaces e instantáneos que existen pero eso es lo que los hace adictivos y que se lean fácilmente es muchísimo mejor.
La historia de Maddie y Volodya comienza cuando el la secuestra pensando que ella es otra chica y ella en un momento de desesperación cuando el descubre que tiene a la mujer equivocada le promete trabajar para el y a cambio no dirá nada.
Volodya fue muy dulce en todo momento con Maddie y tenía actos muy bonitos con ella y si bien era una bandera roja andante con sus momentos tiernos hacía un contraste perfecto entre el bien y el mal.
Maddie es muy dulce y siempre dió todo de ella para ayudar a su mamá incluso llego al punto de ponerse en peligro sin pensar que encontraría el amor en el hombre que la secuestró.
El romance es rápido y los personajes son muy intensos pero se disfruta mucho la lectura porque no son empalagosos y además que tenga partes del mundo de la mafia y no tenga dramas innecesarios hace que sea una lectura entretenida.
¡Obvio voy por el siguiente hermano! 🤭

Но тъй като Василий не праща на време снимката на момичето, Володя хваща, че отвлича грешната жена. Сега той или трябва да я убие, или да я задържи. Силно привлечен от нея той се съгласява да я наеме като чистачка, от която няма нужда. Много скоро близостта й ще изложи на изпитание цялото му търпение. И може би, мъжа, който е решен никога да не се влюбва, ще хлътне до толкова, че да наруши всичките си правила.
Ооо Володя и Мади бяха тоооолкова сладка двойка. След смъртта на баща му, майка му е била толкова съсипана, че за Володя в онзи ден са изгубили и двамата си родители. Затова той се зарича, че никога няма да се влюби. Връзките му са мимолетни и анонимни, докато не отвлича Мади и не я настанява в дома си. Тя го предизвиква и изкушава на всяка крачка и Володя просто нямаше никакъв шанс да й устои. Освен това беше тотален бонбон, как веднага почна да се грижи за нея, купи й кола, погрижи се за лечението на майка й.
Тук относно майка й и рака на гърдата, Мади и майка й нямаха пари за лечението, химеотерапоите съсипваха майка й, която бе слаба и немощна, честно казано, надявам се никога да не трябва да избирам, но между това да запазиш гърдите си преминавайки през ада на лечението, където нямаш голям шанс за успех, и където биваш подлагана на експериментални лечения... нямаше ли да е по-лесно просто да се премахне гърдата. Пак казвам, не разбирам от тези неща, просто е нещо, което си мислех докато чета, защото Мади каза, че това е последното нещо, което могат да направят ако лечението не помогне. С модерната медицина, импланти и т.н. това би ми се сторило по-щадящо за майка й, а не химео и лъче терапии.
Иии все пак, много се насладих на книгата, частите в които се срещахме с братята бяха много забавни. Такива са шматки всички. Тъй като четох първо поредицата Мелников и там всички живееха в един пентхаус, някак очаквах, че и Медведев Братва ще живеят заедно, но Володя си имаше собствено имение на брега на океана също като Василий. Остана ми книгата за Валери.

i enjoyed this! not as much as the first one, but it was easy & quick to read. however, i have noticed with this author that they like to repeat the storylines a lot. (which is kinda annoying to read over and over) but, these two are cute together & the epilogue was great. i was so happy to see maddie’s mom get better! sis is getting the bag💰period.
there’s a few spelling errors in this book, and i wanted more suspense, it felt slightly anticlimactic. but overall, it was pleasant to read.
i’m excited to finish this series though!

Well...this one had quite the first meeting between Maddie and Volodya. I liked how later Volodya told Maddie that he didn't have a picture of who he was supposed to get, but that it was an attractive woman and in his eyes that was Maddie.
Both of them did well when they realized Volodya had the wrong person, Maddie especially. The kind acts from Volodya helped her realize he really wasn't going to hurt her. It was fun to see them fall for each other and for Volodya's brothers to give him crap, while welcoming Maddie.
While there was a bit of drama at the end, I loved how Maddie just knew that Volodya was going to come and save her and she was right. It was nice to see them get their HEA.

3,0 💫 | No sé que decir jakaj, pero este segundo libro me ha gustado menos que el primero.
No fue malo, pero el protagonista en general no tiene una personalidad con la que yo me sentiría cómoda así que quizá sea eso.
El tema en el que más se centra su relación es en el sexo. Me gustaron, mas no fui fanática. Lo dejo en tres estrellas porque a la protagonista le parecía igual de bien lo que a él le gustaba en relación al sexo.
Cuando ya están enamorados y todo eso, pues hay mucho más cariño en sus actos y eso se nota siendo que ella es su excepción. Fueron lindos (después del 40% de libro) así que ok.
Siento que no he dicho nada jajaj y esto está lejos de ser una reseña, pero bno.
Obviamente me voy directo al libro del tercer y último hermano Medvedev, que ojalá sea mi favorito 🙏

This was another easy read but it didn’t do it for me like the others. I find this author can get repetitive at times when she writes a series of books & it’s like reading the same book with different names.
The storyline was basic, nothing exciting really happened. The did explore a hide & seek kink once but that’s all we got.

Amazing read
I am obsessed with the Medvedev brothers! They are the kind of men I love to read. When they are in they are all in and there is no chance for them to stray. This one was just as good as the first book with a bit of primal and even more spice in it. I can’t wait to read Valeri’s book!

This wasn't my favorite from this series but it was still really good. It's definitely worth taking the time to read if you liked the other Medvedev Bratva books or any of Sonja's other work.
That being said, there are a lot of similarities in the overall setup of the plotline. As well as how the climax is written between a lot of Sonja's books. So it can seem a little repetitive. I read books in between her books so it wasn't that bad, but if you read them all in a row you might get a little bored. That being said, the characters and background stories are different enough that it doesn't feel like the same books.
There is primal kink in this book.
I personally love the way Sonja approaches how the men fall in love in her books. They are actually respectable towards the women, so there doesn't need to be any groveling. They are also extremely protective and possessive in a way that doesn't give creepy vibes.

The biggest thing I appreciate in this book is that when Maddie's ex is trash talking Volodya and telling her he is a rapist and doesn't really care for her. She doesn't believe him!!! I get sooo irritated when I read a romance where they already admit they are head over heels in love, but then as soon as someone from their past (that they have NO reason to trust in the first place) tells them something bad they automatically believe them and lose their trust in the one they "love." It is probably my least favorite aspect in dark/mafia romances, because it doesn't make sense to me. Sonja Grey doesn't do that! As soon as Maddie's ex is talking shit, she knows he is full of it and refuses to let him get to her. THANK GOD! Thank you so much for making their love story more believable by doing this.

When Volodya goes to kidnap the sister of a local drug dealer, Scott, he mistakes Maddie, the maid, for the sister he is meant to take. Maddie saw him cut the throat of one of the men that works for Scott so she isn't quick to correct him, thinking that not being the girl he is looking for will lead to her death as well.
It isn't until they are back at Volodya's house that he gets a text with the photo of the girl he was supposed to kidnap and confronts Maddie about who she really is. Luckily for her, despite being a bratva boss, Volodya isn't known for killing innocent women. So, when Maddie offers to become his maid so that he can keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't tell anyone what she saw, he accepts.
It becomes pretty clear to those that know Volodya that this woman is different. "This will be her third night here, and she's still breathing. She is most definitely your soulmate." pg. 70 And it's not just becoming obvious to them. Volodya is fully aware that he feels differently about Maddie, but he is determined to keep his distance because he doesn't think Maddie can handle him, but Maddie is determined to prove him wrong.
She has already seen the worst side of him. The first time she saw him he was slicing someone's throat and then chased her through her home so that he could kidnap her. What's worse than that? Maddie is continues to push Volodya until he finally gives into his (primal) urges. This makes it obvious to Volodya that he is falling in love with her, isn't letting her go, will do anything to keep her safe, and take care of her.
While Volodya deals with his original issues with the local drug dealers, Maddie's ex proves he isn't willing to give her up. It seems that seeing Maddie with Volodya was the the straw that broke the camels back of his sanity. But Maddie trusts in Volodya and his love for her, she knows that he will save her. She also knows that Scott is no match for Volodya and his brothers. She just has to hold on for him.

Virtually no plot, didn’t like him, and she was way too simpering for me.
So basically the same plot as all the rest, but virtually no danger or excitement. Young girl who has no friends yada yada. The main difference with this book is I COULDN’T STAND HIM, and she’s a sap.
Maddie ‘meets’ Volodya when she sees him nearly behead a man in front of her. Volodyar kidnaps her as he mistakes her for someone else. When she pis*es herself with fright, (On him.) he calls her Kiska the whole flaming book, which means pussy!! So because she was terrified as any sane person would be, he calls her a pussy all the way through the book, even when they’re in love!!! He tells her it means pussy cat, and she’s not even angry about it. Yet he basically spends half the book hiding from her as he’s scared of his feelings. Oh so that’s different?
So for some bizarre reason after Volodya kidnaps Maddie and keeps her at his house, (Under the pretence that she’s a maid.) Maddie really likes him. So much so that she chases after him and does a lot of begging. I didn’t like that. I want a man who is strong enough to fight his fears of relationships. The whole book is basically about their day to day lives and it’s boring. The sex scenes are endless yet again, a*al sex isn’t written well, virtually no preparing her for it. Really annoys me that.
Lots of spelling mistakes, and for some bizarre reason the author has lost the ability to use speech marks. There are no speech marks when people are talking, but there are when they are thinking. It was really confusing. One final criticism. YOU CAN FALL PREGNANT WHILE BREASTFEEDING! Can’t believe that myth is still going round.

This was a great story and I really enjoyed it.
Working as a maid in order to raise money to pay for her mothers cancer treatment Maddie is beautiful and kind but taken advantage of and treat like rubbish by most. Until a case of mistaken identity sees her kidnapped by the Bratva and although dark and dangerous her kidnapper just happens to be her Knight in shining armour.
This fantastic read had it all - danger, betrayal, family, loyalty, love, revenge, darkness and some incredible hot spicy scenes especially a chase through the woods and a very primal sex session.
I loved the characterisations and the way the author showed both the dark and slightly lighter side of the main male character and the story had that too a dark layer with hints of lightness. Family was an important theme in the book for both main characters and it was clear that although being from completely different worlds their ability to blend into the other was important.

It took me a while to come back to this series but I remember really liking the first book.
I did really like Maddie, I thought she was hilarious. Especially in the beginning. I just wish we would have learned more about her. I swear she said she had multiple jobs but we only see her being a maid and then when she stopped being a maid she didn’t really do anything. I would have liked to see her have some hobbies or talents or something other than just waiting for Volodya to come home from wherever he was. Also I wish she didn’t throw herself at him as much as she did. He kept pushing her away and she kept going to him.
Volodya grew on me. I mean it’s not like I didn’t like him. I just wanted him to admit to Maddie how he felt about her. Some of his actions showed it but he pushed her away a few times. Once he finally gave in though he was so damn sweet. As always with her male MCs he was super possessive!! A man couldn’t look at his woman without getting a fork stuck in his hand lol.

DNF- so bad
I can count on one hand the number of books I DNF, and this is one of them. I got 70% through before I realized it just wasn’t going to get any better.
The worst crime: this book is BORING. Literally nothing happens after the first few chapters, at least nothing interesting. There’s no mystery, no tension, nothing.
The FMC might be the worst I’ve ever read. She has no hobbies or interests, plans for the future, or backbone. She also CONSTANTLY throws herself at the MMC and getting rejected and it was embarassing reading her doing it over and over again.
Also they both fell head over heels in love in like 48 hours to the point where the FMC breaks down in tears over worrying about him possibly rejecting her AGAIN instead of crying over her mom who literally was admitted to a hospital an hour before with breast cancer. Are you serious?
If you like boring, uninteresting pick-me’s, this is the book for you.

Okayyy… so Bratva Devil by Sonja Grey was a wild, spicy ride that started with a kidnapping and ended in unexpected tenderness. Volodya and Maddie’s story was messy, chaotic, and kind of adorable in its own dark, mafia way 😅.
The setup? Volodya kidnaps the wrong woman, our sweet, hard-working maid, Maddie, thinking she’s connected to a rival drug dealer. Big mistake… but also the best thing that could’ve happened to him 👀. Maddie is just trying to survive, juggling her job and her mom’s cancer treatments 💔, and suddenly finds herself trapped with a Bratva boss who doesn’t know what to do with all the feelings she brings out in him.
I loved watching their dynamic evolve. He’s this cold, brooding, “touch her and die” type 😤💣 who ends up being completely undone by the girl who was never supposed to be his. Maddie stands her ground, even when she’s terrified (and yes, she literally gets so scared at one point she pees herself… not something I expected to read but okay 😂). Despite the insane circumstances, she doesn’t fold; she negotiates her way out of death by becoming his maid, and somehow his heart too.
And Volodya? He goes full softie. He secretly pays for Maddie’s mom’s medical bills (🥹💰 king behaviour), gets jealous of anyone who looks her way, and basically becomes a golden retriever in a hitman’s body. The man even has a dog he adores before Maddie comes along, and by the end, they’re all one big little family 🐶❤️.
Now, let’s talk spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️ it’s definitely there. Volodya is possessive, dominant, and loves chasing her (literally the forest chase scene?? feral). But I kind of wish we got more of that side, because after that one scene, he keeps talking about chasing her again… and then never does 😭 missed opportunity!
Story-wise, it’s a quick, bingeable read. I finished it in one sitting. But I have to agree with others that it felt a bit repetitive if you’ve read other books in the series. There are a few typos, and the pacing dips in the middle, like 60% of the book is just them in bed (not that I’m complaining too much 😏), and then the action rushes back right at the end. The climax (no pun intended lol) happens too early and leaves me wanting more danger, more tension.
Still, Maddie and Volodya’s chemistry carried the story for me. Their banter, his clueless alpha moments, her sass, it all made me smile. The epilogue was super satisfying, too, especially seeing Maddie’s mom doing better. 🥰
Would I reread it? Probably not. But would I recommend it to anyone who loves obsessive mafia men, spicy “wrong girl” kidnappings, and a touch of soft-hearted redemption? Absolutely.

Volodya's Turn
Volodya's book is different to Vasily's. In that he is a lot harder and has a bigger blood lust for a close and personal kill. We meet a man that is mostly a loner; while he has his Bratva and family he still prefers his dogs company because he doesn't want to get close to anyone he can lose. In a sense he is broken from watching his mother's life.
Then we meet Maddie and she struggles on a daily basis. But after a case of mistaken identity (although it's not really a mistake because the info from the lookout said it was Maddie). But then the show really begins with a deal made (by her suggestion) and the multiple day fore-play begins.
When they do get together though it's a wolf and rabbit scenario. We are told multiple times the way that Volodya is in bed so we get plenty of warning that its not soft and romantic. But don't worry we do get that later on and is it steamy hot. The thing I really enjoyed though is the way Volodya introduced Maddie to the other types of s**. It wasn't forced or all the sudden but gradually and sensually done. Although Volodya is such a big man he knows how and what he needs to do to look after Maddie. Which just helps their relationship grow.
There are twists and by God you can't wait to get the revenge that Volodya serves out to save Maddie.
There are spelling and grammar mistakes but only if your really vigilant.
I also wish that we got the pregnancy and birth. There is alot of emphasis on Maddie's feelings about her body before and after birth (especially compared to the hunk of meat Volodya is). Although, we got it in Vasily's book it's more important in this one because of things throughout the book and also the protectiveness but also the absolute danger that Volodya poses by looking at you. But Vasily can be diplomatic. So the birth would've been absolutely hilarious to read; especially with his blood lust.
Otherwise we get updates on Alexei & Svetlana and the same characters carry over. Which I'm glad about because I really would like Alexei & Ilya's own book. I also enjoy the introduction of a mother figure again into another brother. Maddie's mother being weaved so strongly into the story and then the Bratva is sweet to see. Especially that she's not stupid and she can still hold her own against Volodya. But his respect for her and their conversations are a really good read especially that the boys mother don't really see them anymore. It's a nice side that it brings out in these big strong alphas; not just the caveman that comes out for the MFC.
Volodya's book is different to Vasily's. In that he is a lot harder and has a bigger blood lust for a close and personal kill. We meet a man that is mostly a loner; while he has his Bratva and family he still prefers his dogs company because he doesn't want to get close to anyone he can lose. In a sense he is broken from watching his mother's life.
Then we meet Maddie and she struggles on a daily basis. But after a case of mistaken identity (although it's not really a mistake because the info from the lookout said it was Maddie). But then the show really begins with a deal made (by her suggestion) and the multiple day fore-play begins.
When they do get together though it's a wolf and rabbit scenario. We are told multiple times the way that Volodya is in bed so we get plenty of warning that its not soft and romantic. But don't worry we do get that later on and is it steamy hot. The thing I really enjoyed though is the way Volodya introduced Maddie to the other types of s**. It wasn't forced or all the sudden but gradually and sensually done. Although Volodya is such a big man he knows how and what he needs to do to look after Maddie. Which just helps their relationship grow.
There are twists and by God you can't wait to get the revenge that Volodya serves out to save Maddie.
There are spelling and grammar mistakes but only if your really vigilant.
I also wish that we got the pregnancy and birth. There is alot of emphasis on Maddie's feelings about her body before and after birth (especially compared to the hunk of meat Volodya is). Quick, cute, and spicy! I love reading these as palate cleansers between books. The big tough guys are always so soft and wholesome towards their love interests...until they're not 🥵. Sweet and spicy is something you can always expect with Sonja Gray books.
This had quite the meet cute. I was cackling. Maddie accidentally witnesses Volodya kill someone and when Volodya chased her down, she got so scared, she peed on his leg 🤣🤣 Volodya was in love at first sight and he didn't even know.
Because of mistaken identity, Maddie is then kidnapped and taken into Volodya's home. It's cleared up quick and she offers to be his maid so she can pay the bills for her mother's cancer treatment. Volodya, not wanting to let Maddie go just yet for reasons he didn't understand, hires her.
The spice spiced! 🥵🔥 Sonja Gray sure knows what she's doing. This has primal kink, backdoor activities, and a little toy action.
Some parts near the end may sound clichéd or reused if you've read a lot of her work. I notice a lot of similarities between Federov and Medvedev Bratva stories near the end of the books when they wrap up snd tell profess their love repeatedly. That's only it though. Plot lines are different and I think Medvedev Bratva has more graphic violence. But it's fine and fun. I think I read this for the spice anyways. 🤭🔥

Yes, book 2 is out for this crazy and dangerous trio of brothers! This was such a sexy and dangerous tale! This can be read as a standalone but the fun with connections is there and I loved this plot and couple. The heat and momentum does not stop with this story and I immediately felt for this h and her ma. The action is fantastic and the smiles and drama start even before they meet and just get better once these two meet.
He had a mission that night and his accidental mix up would forever change his perception on love forever.
I was dying laughing at parts! I absolutely love this girl, she is sweet and the best daughter. What she had been through as a teen was terrible and I am so happy she ended up with a real man! The way they started till the HEA, so sexy and sweet and I just love the family interactions. It is so special to have this couple meet and then come together and fall in love and find that bliss of happiness. Wasn't keeping her? Silly man. Sigh, he even watched over her...Such a fantastic story and this couple was wonderful. I love the writing and watch out, this was a very sexy couple!

Volodya Medvedev is a stealthy, dangerous, and powerful bratva boss. He’s a ruthless enforcer and feared by many. Maddie is a young woman down on her luck — her mother is sick, her ex-boyfriend won’t get the hint that they’re over, and she’s got a dead end job as a maid. Volodya makes a mistake and kidnaps Maddie thinking she is someone that she isn’t. Now he has a big mess to clean up… unless Maddie can convince him to keep her around.
I loved Maddie’s fighting spirit and sassy attitude. She was definitely not a doormat or pushover! She went toe-to-toe with Volodya and the chemistry was insane. This is probably the first book I think I have read by this author where the heroine hasn’t been a virgin (which I was slightly sad about — it’s my fave trope) but she was still inexperienced in many ways. Volodya falls hard and fast, which is always thrilling to read about. I love a morally gray anti-hero that is big and bad but a total softy for his girl. The steam was impeccable as always. Strong plot, great characters, and yummy steam — what more could you want?!
Definitely another 5 star read by this fabulous author!

Just finished Maddie and Volodya’s story and all I can say is this is a must read series! I read it out of order, I did book 1, then book 3, and finally book 2. But I didn’t feel lost at all, I think the books can be read in any order, but I definitely recommend reading them in order. Each brother is beyond swoon worthy, and I honestly don’t have a favorite.
Volodya swore he’d never marry or have kids. He seen what his fathers death did to their mom and he didn’t want to subject a wife to that. But that all changes when he’s suppose to kidnap a woman and grabs the wrong woman. Right from the start Maddie makes him feel things he’s never felt before. I loved watching him fight his feelings, and I really loved how persistent Maddie was. She wanted Volodya and was tired of his hot/cold attitude and took matters into her own hands!
It was also so incredible how Volodya was with her mom. Everything he did right from the start not only for Maddie, but her mom also had me swooning over him! I loved his protective side and also the sweet side- and especially his dirty side! Loved their little game of “naughty hide and seek”!
This book was absolutely incredible and I can’t wait to start the series by Sonja!
