I may have been destined to rule this world.

Instead, I’m about to burn it to the ground.

I escaped…

Yet, they hunt for me across the world, but I won’t be found until I’m ready.

I’ve learned so much about myself, but also about the sinister forces that took the life of a loved one. Now I’m determined to seek justice by eliminating the killers, including my father-in-law.

To get that close, I have to gain the trust of my fake husband, Cade, and Rafe. It’s temporary—they used me and I’m going to use them in return.

What I don’t expect is for my heart to soften for these men. And for a while, I believe them when they tell me they’re going to protect me, but the day they find out about my secret, I realize I’ve been a pawn all this time.

But I’m so close. The outcome I need is within touching distance, and with just a little careful planning … one night …

I can rid the world of my enemies.

Yet again spoiled by the blurb!

Yet again, the entire plot is spoiled by the blurb!! They don't even find out about the baby until over NINETY % of the way through!!!!! Urgh it's annoying as it's such a good story.

The plot at least picked up in this book, but the characters keep not talking to one another and holding major things behind their backs. I enjoyed the cliffhanger surprisingly, even though parts of the story tended to drag on slightly
