The Relationship Alphabet is an alphabetical survey of relationship topics based on the research of Dr. John Gottman. The book includes insights on communication, conflict management and friendship building. Practical discussion questions make it easy to turn ideas into action.
Enjoy listening to Zach and his friend's Marriage Therapy Radio podcast (https://marriagetherapyradio.com) and find Zach's insights and recommendations to be extremely helpful... So I bought and read his book.
It's a nice companion to the Gottman institute methodology, is fun to share with others and helped me develop a greater appreciation for Zach's insights.
This would also make for a nice engagement present and as a gift for someone who is entering into or looking to cultivate a meaningful relationship. 😊
I came across this book through a podcast about relationships called "Marriage Therapy Radio." although I am not married or engaged, I thought it was a useful tool to help guide my relationships and my understanding of them. This book has helped me appreciate the small things which can be just as important as the big things in a relationship. The four horsemen is a concept and the tools to fend them off will be with me forever.

This book was an easy read with substance. I think it's best as a companion to Gottman's other work, but it would also be a great book to get your feet wet with. The questions at the end of each chapter are great to think about or (even better!) talk about together.
Practical and easy to read book that is based on Gottman's work. I would recommend this to young couples. It would also be a good couples discussion book.
