I enjoyed this. I love quotes and short snippets of peoples lives so this didn't disappoint. I would like to try one of her suggestions to right down. If I were not I afraid, I would... and then do the things on your list one at a time.
This book by Joan Lunden is a compilation of her favorite quotes and how they have helped her through stressful times in her life. She also describes motivational methods by other motivational speakers like Deepak Chopra. This is a book that I need to keep close and not put away somewhere. It is a helpful reference to turn to when you need "uplifting" and help in dealing with stress.
I really enjoyed this book! A nice mix of thoughts and stories from Joan and quotes that she's gathered over the years. Though not religions in nature, I did include it as part of my morning "devotional/gratitude list" time and found many helpful points to ponder! Well written.
This book I would recommend to anyone interested in betterment of mind and well being. It had alot of good quotes that I plan on posting on my facebook every now and then.
A feel good about life read. I liked some of the quotes. The thing that I took from this book was to spend 15 min a day doing something that you are passionate.
