A Journal of Art and Literature is the literary journal of the University of Kentucky's Department of English. The 2007 annual issue of A Journal of Art and Literature was edited by Colleen Glenn and Dax Jennings. The 2007 issue's theme is Frontiers, with the issue presenting various artistic responses to the theme of frontiers through a vast array of poetry, fiction, photography, and artwork, including works from the University of Kentucky Art Museum's permanent collection. This issue features the prose and poetry of Matthew Browning, Lynnell Edwards, Katie Kalisz, Misty Skaggs, Kellie T. Wardman, and many others. Artwork by Lyndon K. Allin II, Adolf Dehn, Thomas Schofield Handorth, Lisa Reid, Mildred Shute, Paul Weller, and others is included.
Colleen Glenn is assistant professor of film studies at the College of Charleston. She researches movie stars, masculinity, and film history and has authored "The Traumatized Veteran: a New Look at Jimmy Stewart's Vertigo" (Quarterly Review of Film and Video) and "Which Woody Allen?" in A Companion to Woody Allen.
