罗小黑战记

雨夜，一只流落街头的小黑猫，被少女罗小白带回家，起名罗小黑。罗小黑不是一只普通的猫咪，它极通人性，会蹲马桶，不吃猫粮，长长的尾巴甚至能分裂成多个名为“黑咻”的生物体。另一方面，名为“谛听”的神秘人物，发动手下三匹长着翅膀的狼，搜寻着罗小黑的下落。不久，罗小白带着小黑到乡下探望堂哥阿根和爷爷，由此发生了种种离奇玄幻事件。

I'm obsessed so even though I watched the donghua three times i had to read this lmao and the extra chapter actually added something to the donghua mmmmhhhh.......xuanli what happened :(

picked this up because i watched the movie The Legend of Hei and loved it. this series of comics is actually quite different from the movie. Xiao Hei is adopted by a human and the comics feature his adventures with her. i really missed Wuxian and Xiao Hei's interactions though???

i love this art style. the characters are incredibly cute and their expressions are so comedic at times. generally a quick read, but the comics stop just when it gets interesting and actual plot is introduced. the short comics explain why the movie was really abrupt at times though. also, i loved the stillness in most of the panels. mtjj lets his illustrations speak for him, and they capture stillness and quiet moments, which is really reminiscent of studio ghibli.
