chhattisgarh scooter yatra felt less like reading a travelogue and more like travelling alongside the authors. the scooter, budget constraints, fear of breakdowns, endless chai stops, food, and self-imposed travel rules reminded me of many mini journeys of my own. what stayed with me most were the tribals... their lives, culture, and the uneasy feeling that much of it is slowly disappearing. the realistic photographs and simple telangana-flavoured writing made the places feel immediate and real. the book also sparked my curiosity about chhattisgarh's history and the lesser-known people behind its formation. a warm, grounded travel narrative that lingers after the journey ends.
