Designed for computer science majors, Mathematical Structures for Computer Science offers a pedagogically rich and intuitive introduction to discrete mathematical structures. The book is both accessible and comprehensive, and the first three editions have been very popular among students and professors for over 16 years.Text balances clear presentation of the concepts with applications relevant to the future computer scientist Focuses exclusively on the mathematical needs of the computer science major Coverage geared specifically for intro-level, one-term course
I would never pick up this book unless for my class homework. After three-semester, finally done with this book. The concepts are pretty high level, but I have to agree that they are useful in the terms of programming.
