I randomly picked it up on sale where I didn’t expect much from it. I have to admit, I enjoyed it. I giggled a lot. It’s really my cup of tea.

Great book in this one Jenny T Partridge is helping a friend in a dance competition and ends up in the middle of a murder.

I read this book even though I hated the first one. I do have to say that this book is a tiny bit better then the first book. It doesn't trash the Mormons like the first book, and the psycho dance mom stuff was toned down a notch.
However there were still parts of this book that had me rolling my eyes and wondering if the author was even involved in dance a little bit. This book is written like someone who wants to talk about dance and act like they know it but knows nothing about it at all.
The story line of Tate Wilson and James is still being carried on. Which is fine but it seems that the whole "mystery man" idea is just to keep it going. There are parts where Jenny acts mature then turns around and wants to jump on every good looking guy that comes her way (a little hypocritical considering she hates when her "bf" Tate looks at another girl).
Overall this book was a step up from the 13 year old story telling writting that the first book had. Although it wasn't something I would recommend to others.
Lastly, I just wanna scream at Jenny. If you are that hard up for money get another job. She has all this free time to run around and skip out on classes but can't get another job to help with bills? Also the kids in this book are dumbed down, if the girl is 5 she's acting like she's 2. Which annoys me beyond belief. I could go on and on about the things that annoyed me in this book.

Jenny’s friends are fun and her enemies are a hoot too. Tapped Out is a fun book with a surprise ending. I learned a lot about the duties of a dance teacher and some of the problems they have to cope with.

I was pretty skeptical. Most of the bad reviews I saw said that Jenny was over the top about Psycho Dance Moms and the Mormons. I really didn't think I would like this one. But I did.
I did not read the 1st book in this series but I didn't feel lost. I really enjoyed the relationships between Jenny, Tate, and her friends. Again, I am wondering why cozy writers ALWAYS have the boyfriend be a cop. Why can't we have a female cop best friend, or a gay male friend as the cop, or anybody else!?! Mom, Dad, grandma, brother... anybody, please?
But aside from that quirk of mine, this story was good. It was better than I expected and I enjoyed following the clues in the story to find the killer.

Book 2 in the Jenny T. Partridge Dance Mysteries. This is such a fun, light mystery. I love the characters. They are quirky and have a great sense of humor. Jenny is still struggling to make ends meet. So as a favor to a friend, she takes up a side job to be an instructor for a dance competition that just rolled into town. However, the extra thousands bucks doesn't come easily. Especially when Jenny starts receiving threats and instructors start disappearing!

Really enjoyable second entry in the series with Jenny getting involved with the murder and mayhem surrounding a traveling dance competition run by an old friend that comes to town. I didn't even notice that there was no body until after 100 pages into the book it was so entertaining. I really like the characters. The one thing that annoys me is how often the MC and other characters refer to her using her middle initial - who does that? A small price to pay for a good book though.

I just really like these books! Laugh-out-loud funny, easy to read, although a bit irreverent. This series doesn't require a lot of brain power, it's just a fun read and the main character is just so quirky and charming.

I love Jenny and all of the crazy things that seem to happen to her. I like that she is trying to follow her dream of teaching dance, yet is struggling each month to pay her bills. I like Tate and wonder what is in his past that he doesn't want to talk about.

This is a fun, light series with interesting, quirky characters. Jennifer T. Partridge is an appealing heroine, and the Ogden, Utah setting and the culture are spot-on. Not all LDS people are like those in Jenny's world, but every neighborhood has at least one.

This is a fun read. A little off the wall, and not very realistic when it comes to the conflict, but fun to read about local places I know pretty well, and also her viewpoint on the mormons from a non-member way of seeing things.

This book was just a quick, easy, fun read. I like reading the Jenny Partridge books because they are set in Ogden, Utah and it is fun to read about areas that I'm familiar with.

I really liked all 3 of the Jenny T. Partridge series books. Too bad there aren't more of them (that I've found anyway.)

This is the 2nd in a very short-lived series of fun cozy mysteries. Jenny is a great character and I enjoyed the story. I read the first one a few years ago and this one was as good as it was.

Dance competitions, mystery and funny Mormon stories. Great fun! Lots of laughs, but not a gripping mystery story.
