As a dance instructor, psycho dance moms seem to constantly bug Jenny T. Partridge, but in Tapped Out Jenny has more than psycho moms to worry about. Luckily, she has her police officer boyfriend, Tate Wilson, to try to protect her. Protecting Jenny seems to be a full time job for Tate.
Bill Flanagan, an old friend of Jenny’s, contacts her to help him out with a dance competition he is putting on in Ogden. Hollywood Star Makers is his company and it is a good offer for Jenny and her friend James. Jenny needs the money and is glad to get the work. As soon as Jenny agrees to take the job, her troubles really begin. Two members of Bill’s team have disappeared. It soon becomes apparent that someone does not want Jenny on the job either. She receives a threatening phone call but that is only the beginning of the disasters that befall her.
Jenny’s friends are fun and her enemies are a hoot too. Tapped Out is a fun book with a surprise ending. I learned a lot about the duties of a dance teacher and some of the problems they have to cope with.
