Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).

If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.

Marie Antoinette

Summery : This book is about a young girl named Marie Antoinette who lived in a castle with her 5 sisters, one brother, a mother, and a father. When Marie was small she loved to mess around with her older sister Charlotte. Her parents would never notice because they would always be busy. As time went on and as the girls got older, things around the castle became busier. Pretty soon, Marie's mother started to make arrangements for Marie's sister's to be married. Then around the time Charlotte, the 5th eldest sister got married Marie's father passed away. That was when her mother started to wear all black and she started become a perfectionist. She tried to make Marie a beautiful woman so she could get a husband.

Response: I think this book is worth reading because it shows what life was like back in the day and how harsh things were. Back then, mothers would make little girls have tutoring for 3 hours or even more so they can get husbands and have babies. If you were a queen of a kingdom everyone would have wanted you to have a boy to be heir to the throne instead of girls. That's an example how men had more power and rights then women. I think that this book would be good for kids and adults to read it because then they can learn about how we started out and how our world has changed over the years.

About the author: The author of Marie Antoinette is Katie Daynes. She is an author, an editor, and a narrator for children's books, and a published Adapter. She has written or helped write one hundred and fifteen books in all. I think she started out with just a really creative brain and she decided to become a writer. This is a picture:

Other books the author has written: Katie Daynes has written and helped write one hundred and fifteen books in all. Here are some of her books she has written: Living in Space, Questions and Answers, My First Story Writing Book, The Story of Chocolate and many more.

Rating: If I could rate this book I would rate it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ four stars out of five.

The kids and I are reading lots of books for the Springville library program. This was one Megan and I found that would pass off our "read a biography" requirement. It was short and sweet but I was surprised at how much I learned. Yes, early morning seminary made it so I slept through my history class so maybe I should have known these things but I didn't. It made me think that it may be a good idea to go pick up a biography from the young adult section more often. A quick easy read that leaves you feeling a little wiser.
