When I read of "compelling evidence" in relation to some book it actually just fits within a certain narrative favored by the reviewer.

more interesting for the assets of the SS
and what to do with them as things didn't seem to be going well in 1944-1945

If found this an extraordinary book ... The author offers compelling evidence to suggest that Himmler did not meet his end in the established way ... Interesting read ...
