* 3 men get broken out of prison - Gordon Loscoe, a bloke called Griff, and Joe - the only person who can ID the motorway men. * The whole point is to kill Joe, but he gets away from them. The motorway men are then chasing Joe, and the cops are also looking for him. * Joe ends up at Julie Wilder's house, and she lies and says that he isn't there. Curt then takes off running, gets in the car Joe stole, and has everybody chasing him giving Joe a chance to escape. * Curt ends up in the river with broken ribs and a fractured skull, but one of the motorway men fish him out. * They all get arrested but aren't talking. * Joe turns himself in and says he'll testify against the motorway men. * Neil works out who the mole is in the police force and he manages to get evidence against him so he's arrested. * One of the motorway men decides that's he's had enough and he wants to talk, so they hope they'll have more support there. * Griff breaks his leg and ends up back at the jail which is how they work out that Phil from Birmingham is the dodgy cop. * Gordon makes it across to France, meets Eddie, gets his money from the bank, and then Eddie kills him, buries him, and steals his money. We also learn that it was Eddie who killed Paul.
