Peerless was perfect, but perfection has its boredom--and the boredom was no longer tolerable for her.

Peerless is a short story I wrote as a contest entry last year, since then I've been giving it away for free.

Reality sidelines ambition. As a result, I have pretty much ended my writing "career," such as it is.

I do hope you enjoy that which is available. There may not be more in the future. Such is life.

I wrote this a while ago as a contest entry. It's a short story about a lovely lass named, naturally, Peerless, who is quite sad with the state of her life: perfection. The overwhelming price of perfection is boredom, and that price is one she's no longer willing to pay. I'm not giving this a real "review," since I'm the author, and I feel that is unfair. I let the reader decide the merits (or lack thereof) of the work. But I do hope you'll enjoy it.
