chapter 362 is probably not even part of this volume but idc WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT WHY THE FUCK DID HORIKOSHI FELT THE NEED TO PUT US THROUGH THE PAIN I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS HAPPEN PLZ LET THIS NOT BE THE END
not trying to through any shade who am i kidding yes i am HOW THE HELL DO Y'ALL STAN SHIGARAKI HOW LOOK AT WHAT HE JUST DID AND WHAT HE IS DOING NOW
Chapters 359-362 (SPOILERS! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK) All of this may be indecipherable as I am still reeling.
Who knows where we are at volume wise, but pretty sure this most recent chapter is for volume 37. I need to vent/cry/scream/rant somewhere!
>Triple threat power appearance! Let's go big 3! -Tamaki is too cute for words - "Eating bugs is all the rage these days!" *unleashes scorpion ability* GO OFF! -Also no one calls Lemillion stupid unless they want me to come for them, but he more than shows that he can handle himself. -Aww the introduction between Nejire Chan and Tamaki is precious! -IN SUNEATER WE TRUST!
>SHIGGY SUCKS YALLLLL! (and I'll say it again!) I know he had it tough and I feel awful for the life he had. I feel like I wouldn't be human if I didn't, but.... we cannot just turn a blind eye to everything he is doing. I am scheduling 'throwing hands' with him into my calendar cause I cannot! In the words of Tamaki - "GET WRECKED!!"
>Okay I'll be very honest and say Bakugo has never been my favorite because being an asshole shouldn't be a personality trait, but I care for the kid a lot. He has always wanted to be number 1, and I know he has self-esteem issues. Seeing this happen to him has broken a part of me. I didn't know I was so attached to him. This is truly, truly heartbreaking. -"Gotta win... Right, Izuku?" HE USED HIS ACTUAL NAME *CRIES* "So, Izuku... Can I... Still catch up to you?" *SOBS* "Man... I wanted an autogragh so bad" *THROWING MYSELF TO THE GROUND* -EVERYONES FACES!!! I AM HAUNTED BY THAT IMAGE! I AM UNWELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For my own personal health and mental sanity I shall be choosing to ignore chapter 362.
WHAT WAS THAT ENDING?!?!?! He better be okay! He better live! I can’t say anything else about it, but, dang, this character and I have come a long way together, not to mention he’s grown SOOO much on his own, so he better not die for real!!!!
Shoto vs Dabi—so intense, so moving seeing how far Todoroki has come and changed and views his classmates, and his smile when he declared his power and thanked Deku?! 😭😭😭 So beautiful! I love him! Though this fight isn’t over yet, I can feel it.
Jiro, Hawks, Tokoyami, and Endeavor vs All For One—dang that was awesome, though painful as well, and they all work so well together! And then there’s the Cage Match Crew vs Shigaraki which was also intense and these heroes are all showing their true mettle! And I strangely love Best Jeanest even though he’s barely been in the series so far, haha. And Shigaraki yelling at Togata about friends made me laugh despite everything because poor Togata was just so confused, lol. And Bakugo wanting All Might’s autograph… 😭😭😭 I can’t say more but that scene nearly made me cry, gah!!!!
Intense, pure intensity, with all these battles and characters duking it out, and that character better be okay OR ELSE. ⚔️

This is one of the best volumes we've gotten in the series. Shoto and his big battle with Dabi is so emotional, and the art is incredible as always. And to end the volume the way they did was insane. Bakugo has some of the coolest development.
WOW. Crazy action and fighting throughout this whole volume. Maybe a bit too much action and not enough character interaction. But what really did get me with this one was the character stuff that was included, specifically toward the end of this volume. Brutal.
Well that was a cruel, CRUEL volume. We started off with the conclusion of the battle against Dabi (which was INCREDIBLE), but finished off with a cliffhanger in which may be DEAD. You can't do this to me, they're one of my favourites!
And sure, there were lots of other (very exciting) things happening this volume and all... BUT ARE THEY DEAD?!
Chapter notes below for personal reference: (potentially spoiler heavy)
Main points in this volume: Endeavor lost an arm while battling All for One, but that only made him powerful; Kyoka lost an ear while she and Tokoyami were helping Endeavor & Hawks fight All for One. Hawks protected Tokoyami and Kyoka, but he got stabbed by All for One. Bakugo’s arm was broken by Tomura. Nejire and Tamaki teamed up to form a cannon made of animal parts to shoot Shigaraki.
And, in the explosive final chapter, it’s revealed that All Might’s vestige temporarily resided in Katsuki Bakugo. We don’t know since when (perhaps since he woke up in the hospital and met Vestige All Might). It activated when Katsuki gave his very best to fight Tomura. Despite a broken right arm, it appears he have lost and died (which will trigger Izuku to avenge him).
I also noticed that Katsuki called Izuku by his proper name (not Deku anymore). It was implied he was envious of Deku, asking himself, “Will I ever reach you, Izuku?” Well, in this chapter, he out-beaten Izuku by sacrificing himself. He took his hardest blow against Tomura. Then, in the final manga panels of the last few chapters, it was implied by Best Jeanist that Katsuki’s heart might have stopped! 😰
Reread Chapter 362 of Volume 36: Katsuki regretting not getting All Might‘s autograph is heart-wrenching! 😭📖✍🏼
Overall, marvellous volume! Giving it 5 stars! ✨⭐️🤩
This volume might consist of Chapters 352 to 362 (11 chapters).
Actual Chapter Count: Chapters 351 to 362 (12 chapters)

So so so proud of Tamaki 🥺 I loved the flashback of him and Nejire becoming friends. Horikoshi owes me for therapy after Chapter 362.
Aizawa and Best Jeanist just watching and knowing they can't do anything to save Bakugo hurt so much. Also the interaction we see of him with All Might's OFA form and his inner monologue of never being able to get All Might to sign his card. And Best Jeanist actually calling him by his hero name. Yeah...just pain...
Bakugo's grown so much and had so much character development I will be genuinely pissed if he is actually dead. He deserves better than to be used as a plot point to further Deku's growth so here's hoping Ch. 363 shows he's still alive...
Honestly, at this point in the series, there is so much going on that it is hard to follow. In addition to this, the lack of dialogue leaves the reader guessing as to what’s actually happening in the illustrations.
Wow been a damn minute since I LOVED a volume of my hero but this that one.
Basically got every big battle going on. The Shoto fight is emotional and looks so damn good. The fight with Endeavor and his peeps vs all for one is absolutely RAW as fuck with some amazing panels. And then we get to Bakugan and Lemellion vs Shiggy is so damn good and the ending is fucked up. Yeah this is what My Hero can be at it's best.
While I did enjoy this volume, it is lacking a certain main character. Lots of focus on the 2nd tier characters. Lots of action. Lots of talky talk talk talk talking like this is some Marvel Comic book and everyone is Spider-Man or Deadpool. Speaking of which, between the battle damage that most characters have not fully recovered, they just had a big fight leaving scars. Now the next big fight it is hard to tell one character from the other, good guy? bad guy? hard to tell really. The battlegrounds are getting trashed and there is debris flying everywhere - the art is a bit sloppy so that is all combining to make this all less enjoyable.
We also seems to be wrapping up some of the long term secondary storylines (about time I have to say). With a lot of emotions. It is starting to look like Deku will become the #1 Hero from the pictures and statements from the early volumes because all the other bleeping heroes die! I can see the updated splash page now, just Deku and a piles of bones and dead bodies of those that helped him become number one hero.
